hey i just wanted to know that whether an application to frame preliminary issue is maintenable under section 9-a cpc where the issue is the limitation>?

In past you asked if Issue of limitation can be pressed as preliminary issue ? i answered you that not only it can be pressed as preliminary issue but also court can be asked to reject the plaint under order 7 rule 11 C.P.C.

Now you after getting utterly confused intermingling the jurisdictional issue
with limitation issue.

Section 9 cpc confers jurisdiction in civil court and 9a cpc is an amendment in maharashtra to decide the issue of jurisdiction first.
