Hi, I came to know that one of my properties was sold and registered by other person without any othorisation from me. What are my options to cancel the sale deed? Can I file police, civil or criminal case? Can I make only the vendor (seller) or vendee (purchaser) or both as parties?
I would like to make only the vendor as party since he is the one who sold my property, if I can. Thanks in advance!!

You may file a police case but the real remedy is to file a suit of cancellation against the vendor and vendee both in civil court. In such a suit vendee would be a necessary party.Do not think of adventures.

Give a police complaint then file a suit for cancellation of sale against both vendor and vendee in civil court of its jurisdiction. In this suit vendee must be a neccessary party.

You can not only lodge FIR but also a civil suit seeking sale-deed setting aside on the basis of facts fo the case.
