Pagdi room rent

dear all sir We are staying in(mumbai).pagdi system.
my room rent rs.500/-per month and water charg is rs.200per month coman lite charges is rs100/per month & coman tolet cleing charges is 100/per month.
Recently landlord is charge for Rs. 100/- per month for rent collection charge (but no any man are come rent collection) & coman aria security charges for Rs. 150/- per month. But landlord is coman aria making for pay & park. It is right in rent law ?.
total my room rent 1150 per month. my query. is above all charges is ok.It is right in rent law ?.

you are paying a pittance . charges are nominal . dont quib pay nominal charges . if landlord is providing security guards he will charge security charges . similarly water charges have to b epaid if you want water supply . BMC dosent supply water for free .

Keeping in view alarming MEHANGAYEE under congress rule, the increase in rent under some items is very nominal so bear it like whole country.

the querist has not mentioned how he pays his rent . he says rent collector dos not collect rent . so i preferred to keep silent on that part of query and answered the rest .

if querist is personally going and paying rent he can certianly object to rent collection charges .
