Adopted child property rights

I am a adopted child of my parents. Apart from me my parents have 2 of their own sons. They had bought a land in my name when i was 7 years old. Now i am 24 years old and working.My parents sons are claiming right to this land.

What provision do i have in law to hold this land? Please elp

actually you adopt parents self earned property and register in your name, so no one cannot ask rights in share.

Hi Sir,

Thanks for your kind response but your last line is bit confusing " so no one cannot ask rights in share".
Also, can my step brothers go to court claiming the same. If yes, what documents will i need to prove my adoption in case it was not registered.

Even though the property was bought before your adoption, the ownership of the land is with you and no body including your biological parents can claim back it from you.

Unless if the property is purchased out of joint family's income your step brother can't claim any share from you. But if they proved that the property purchased from joint family's income mean they can.
