sir,
I am rosy from kerala. I got married to a boy in another district in kerala. The marriage is solemnized in kozhikode dist , where the boy resides. but i am from another district thrissur. Our marriage is not consummated. I think the boy is impotent. He abandoned me after 3 weeks. He is a software professional in madras.That is the place where we last resided. Can i file a divorce on my district family court in thrissur?
Because it is quite away from my place.

either you can file kozhikode or your staying place, before must have strong proof for impotent.

You can file such case- i) either where the marriage was solemnised, ii)where you last resided together or iii) where you are not currently residing.

You can file petiton at place where your marriage was sollemnised {Kozhikode} or where you both last reside together{Madras}

yes.. you can file your case at anywhere, either thrissur, kozhikode, or chennai.. cos three places include your case's cause of action..
