DEAR EXPERTS,

WE HAVE MAKE A SANGTHAN , WANTED TO REGISTERED IT AS A NATIONAL LEVEL PLEASE TELL ME

1.CAN IT MANDATORY SUBMIT IN DELHI ???? (A PERSON TELL ME )

2. PLEASE SUGGEST ME

WE SHOULD REGISTERED IT AS A TRUST OR COMMITTEE?

I AM IN CHAOS AND YOUR ADVISE CAN BE HELPFUL FOR US .

PLEASE GUIDE ME AND ALSO TELL ME WHERE IT WILL BE REGISTERED IN DELHI COURT OR ANY REGISTRAR OFFICE ADDRESS.

You have to register before charity commissioner of area and it will be public trust with society.

A trust is relatively easier mode of incorporation than a society, a committee without any registration is not recognised and legally binding further such committee will be assessed as AOP, hence it is prudent to register as a trust/society. Please contact a Advocate dealing in registration of trusts/societies or a Chartered accountant who can be further helpful in not only registering the body but guide you on the tax front also.

If your Sanghatan is for charitable purposes and you wish to make it as NGO you can register it as (a) charitable trust under Indian Trust Act (b) registered co-operative society with co-operative sub-registrar of the concerned State and (c) Non-Profit company under section 25 of Indian Companies Act.
