i am planning to purchase a property at thane at a slums can any one help me what is the procudure for purchasing the room and what all document should i require for inspection of the property?

if the owner shows you the valid document like ownership deed, tax receipts, etc, you can buy after checked by searching the right title of the seller through lawyer, otherwise its illegal you cant expext any papers from illegal construction.

Yes. I agree. In the absence of valid documents ot title,the occupier cannot convey any good title to you.
