I HAVE COMPLETED LL.B.SPECIAL IN 2006. I M WORKING AS ACCOUNTANT IN A LTD COMPANY SINCE THEN. I WANT TO START LAWYER-PRACTICE AND WANT TO WORK AS TAX CONSULTANT. WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE TO BECOME AN OFFICIAL LAWYER NOW. WHAT IS THAT EXAM - NEWSPAPERS ARE TALKING ABUT? PLEASE GUIDE.

Enrol ur name to the state bar council and to the local bar association. Join the senior advocate, he will be the good books for you. You can also practice as a tax consultant

Those who have passed LLB in sessions 2009-10 have to appear and qualify the exam for License to Practice which is scheduled on 15.12.2010 by the Bar Council of India. Since you have completed LLB prior to 2009-10 session, you are not required to sit in the examination.
