provision to release seized vehicle

under which provision one can release his vehicle seized by Indian police used by some other person(friend/relative) in commission of offence.

Courts have been empowered specifically to order for the release of the vehicle on sapurdari keeping in view the facts of the case subject to undertaking to produce the vehicle before court or investigating officer as and when required.
