Regarding ews certificate

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 25 August 2025 This query is : Resolved
I am married, I don't earn a single rupee and my husband's income is less than 8 lakh per annum and we have a seperate rashan card and Jan aadhar card but my parents in laws annual income is more than 8 lakh per annum , am I eligible to apply for EWS certificate from rajasthan state government ?
Quick Summary
This discussion concerns eligibility for an EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate in Rajasthan. The general consensus is that if your parents-in-law's annual income exceeds 8 lakh rupees, you may not be eligible, even if your husband's income is below the threshold and you have a separate ration card. However, one piece of advice suggests you might be eligible as a separate family unit and recommends contacting your local tehsil for confirmation.

The annual income of your husband and his parents will be taken into consideration for eligibility for EWS, hence you may not be eligible.
