This query is : Resolved
There is a cellphone tower in our locality.through rti, we have come to know that permission for its installation was obtained after 3yrs from its installation.no objection certificates were also signed by the tenants of the building owner n not by any of the neighbours. We have complained to the deputy commissioner who, after enquiry, directed the building owner to remove the tower. But the owner and the company have stated that the dc is not empowered to order the tower's removal. Pls advise

Everyone wants cellphones, that too, with connectivity. How this is possible without towers?

Once the tenant and building owner signed the NOC and agreement (as the owner would get some rentals for such installations) and the competent authority granted permission, the same has to be cancelled by the same authority who granted the permission. Neighbours consent is not required.

Move to court for orders. Inform the DC regarding the development.
