is it correct to make the cross examination of the power of attorney holder from the plaintiff after completion of the chief examination by the pliantiff.

Yes, only after examination of chief the stage comes for cross examination.

Cross is right and POA can depose for acts he has done as donee and for acts of doner.

Power of attorney is an agent of his master/principle hence he is bound to be cross-examined for all the acts covered under such POA during his cross-examination as per wishes of the opposite party.
