Dv 2005 will affect or not ?

wife can file dv Act 2005 on husband though they are leaving separately since 16 months ( Both leave in different city )(in this 16 month she filled 498a only )

And i heard that if wife leave seprately more then year then she cant file Dv on husband ?

Is that true ?

What are the provisions in this ??

DV case can be filed at any point of time from the date of separation.
So , if the case is filed then contest it on merit.
Leave the knowledge of provision of law to your lawyer only.

Experts ,
there are numbers of judgments where the case got dismissed due to the affect of limitation act in dv-2005.
