Divorce suit is not disposed off so early. 4-5 years is standard time.

If you strongly believe that you cannot live with him anymore, you may apply for divorce on the grounds of whatever you have faced the difficulties, but make sure that you are liable to prove your cause.

No fixed duration for getting a divorce. The case can run for years together by one or the other reason, especially dilatory tactics from your husband's side.
If he has entered in to 2nd marriage, why don't you file a case to get that treated as void, as he was not eligible for 2nd marriage without getting divorce from you?

Since you have decided to part ways with him, it is better you contact an advocate locally and file a divorce petition on the grounds of adultery and cruelty, forget about his RCR, let him prosecute the same, you while contesting the RCR, may in counter, state that you have filed a petition for divorce on the grounds what you have stated in your counter. Therefore, the counter should contain the same grounds which has been plead in the divorce petition filed by you.
