Draft jda between a builder/developer and land owner

(Querist) 30 September 2011 This query is : Resolved
I require to know about important elements contained in a JDA that needs to be entered into between a builder and a land owner preferably in the state of Karnataka. A ready draft would be very helpful, if possible.

Request mail to vyascm@rediffmail.com

How can provide draft without all facts!!!!
It is suggested to you hire local advocate, he will do needful.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 30 September 2011
Are you builder or owner?

If builder, take the services of a lawyer permanently as he shall be required in many types of consultation in your project and if you are owner then you are also advised to have a meeting with a local lawyer with your complete documents and get drafting of required agreement.

Generally ready-made agreements remain prepared by builders and owners/allottes are given very very limited option to apply their minds.

it is always advisable to hire a lawyer when you can afford his fees. ready made drafts may land you in major problems

I think people want to do cut and paste job without realising that in the process they may miss out important aspects, which may prove harmful to them in the long run.

I agree with the views of all the above experts.
