Hi

This is baljeet.I want to know that I want to apply for Punjab domicile certificate.But the house which I owned has been sold by me.
how can I apply for domicile certificate.

As far as domicile certificate is concern, owning a house is not the criteria but the intention to reside in a particular place having real and substantial connection within the said jurisdiction is the main criteria. A mere sojourn or temporary residence does not constitute a domicile.

You have posted your query as anonymous but have disclosed your name in the post.

Anyway, if you had continuously resided in the said house since last 5 year before you sold, you can definitely get the document prepared from the same place.
