sir
i want to buy agricultural land in thane maharatra.my fathers had agricultural land in our native place in maharastra.now i want to buy agricultural land on my name in maharastra, what documents will i get to buy it or transfer it on my name.

you have to look after the documents like property extract, encumbrance certificate, full card of the agrl., land and also copy of the mutation register related to an agrl., land.
If every document is OK to avoid any further consequences it is better to publish the notice in the local news paper regarding your intention to purchase the property. You meet your advocate he will guide regarding the papaer publication

For purchase of an agricultural land in Maharastra, submit the 7/12 extract of agri. land of your father, document for proof you father- son relationship such as your driving license,ration card, or election card etc.and an affidavit as you inherit agricultural land.
