Correction in mother's name

In my 12 marksheet my mother name is incorrect. So I wanna want to change it.
But my problem is that I have passed my 12 class in 2012.
So please help what can I do.

Check about correction/amendment in the 12th certificate issued in 2012 with the CBSE office in the city/state where you live. The duplicate certificate with correct named will be issued after the prescribed documentation required and payment of the prescribed fee.

Check with O/o Principle of School from which you passed 10th and onwards…………

My opinion; No change allowed in old certificates. You have to depend on your own Affidavits
