Correction deed

I have found after 7 years, mistake in my land register deed.Mistake is related to direction of land .
Seller is not in contact.Please advise How i can make rectification in my land register deed.How much stamp duty i have to pay for correction deed.Pls suggest process.

Whether the said mistake is in title deed / sale deed or otherwise?

What is the exact mistake in direction?

It would be advisable to show the documents to some local lawyer and move as per his advice. Sometime minor mistakes can be overlooked.

Stamp duty differ from state to state, discuss / consult local registrar office / local lawyer.
