sir,
we have a double storied building where we are selling the ground floor.Adjuscent to the ground floor is a small vacant land withing our property boundary. Now the lawyer of the prospective buyer told us that this land will be common to both the buyer and seller. But the buyer wants to construct some portion on the said common land.My question is whether we should give permission to the buyer for construction or he does not have any right to construct?we will be selling our first floor after the ground floor. Will I face any difficulty during the sell of first floor due to the construction in common land by the buyer in future?

no dont give any permission to construct on common land . the agreement should specify that only the ground floor flat is being sold .

its depend upon your agreement., and mutual understandings., if you give rights or permission to construct mean he can., ootherwise he can not.,

Don't give such permission. Even you gave permission, Concern Development authority would not sanctioned the map. Since it is common land.
