A resident is concerned about members constructing a temple on their co-operative society's common plot, including the use of loudspeakers and further construction. The key issue is whether the construction has been approved by the general body and relevant authorities, as a temple is considered a common purpose but requires proper permissions. The society may be able to take action against illegal construction if approvals are missing.

Has the construction been approved by the general body and requisite permissions/approvals obtained?

For the construction of the temple, the General Body with the majority shall approve the proposal and after that, they shall get approval from the authority concerned.

Temple is also a common purpose. Do you have plans for any other usage. Normally local body takes over common property for common good.
Temple has to approve by the planning department otherwise it is illegal construction. Society can take action against the illegal construction of temple.
