Cannot get my oc

hiee i had a query regarding my oc of my flat.i have not received my oc as i have not paid my VAT to the builder .can you please guide me to who will help me issue my OC is it the society or the builder himself will issue the oc

Builder collects the OC.
The absence of it does not make any hindrance in title of your flat though it is better to have it.

Individual flat owners in city can directly approach the Municipal Corporation in your area for occupancy certificates (OC) if builder fails to provide it

File an RTI in the Municipal corporation or concerned related authorities.

Rightly suggested by expert Mr. Malipeddi Jagga Rao. What about other occupants of the society/flat owners association?, VAT has to be paid as per the rules, what is the doubt about its payment? If OC was already handed over to the builder by the authority, you have to go by the builder only.
