Cancel the gpa from abroad it is possible ?

I am a NRI and have given General power of Attorney to my brother who resides in India.This was given in India itself and registered in India.

Now i want to cancel the GPA I was told that we should personally appear in Sub-register office while cancelation. How can I cancel/revoke from abroad? Is there anyway we can execute cancellation of our POA through consulate and avoid travelling to India?

You can very well cancel this GPA even from abroad by getting the cancellation deed duly executed and countersigned from the Indian embassy/high commission situated in your country and sending the same to any person of your trust in India to get this cancellation deed registered before the same registrar and then get the same published in daily news paper with notice to your brother about the cancellation of the GPA. You need not to visit India for this purpose.

Yes, you can revoke the GPA from abroad also.
Execute revocation deed in abroad, get it notarised there counter signed by Foreign Consulate and then get in adjudicated in India.
