We have a few defaulters of monthly maintenance in our housing society. We issued notices to them through our lawyer.the lawyer has proceeded for section 101 under maharashtra coop.societies act.How long does it take to get the amount due from such defaulters ?These defaulters have given their flats on rent. Can we stop the water supply to these tenants or cut their electric supply?or can we stop their garbage collection? What exact punitive action can we take against these tenants of defaulters? We are unnecessarily paying the common charges for these defaulters? Is it not injustice to honestly paying members?

Our builder has not done conveyance even one year after formation of society. Also he has not given us many amenities like swimming pool, clubhouse etc.For this we engaged a lawyer to go against the builder in consumer court. This lawyer has taken a lot of time to issue notices to builders who were partners.
This lawyer now says he will do the conveyance deed first which will take at least 4 months. After that he is going to consumer court against the builder. We have engaged this lawyer 6 months back.He took 6 months to get records from the corporation like sanction plans etc through RTI.
My question is can we ask the lawyer to go for consumer court immediately along with the deemed conveyance? The lawyer is getting retainership on yearly basis. If he goes to consumer court after 4 months,it will take much time for verdict. Is there any connection between Deemed Conveyance and the consumer court case against the builder?

Hi,
I got married in 17,May 2011.On 27,May 2011 she went to her home......till date.... she is there.
During 10 days stay abnormal behavior was noticed. After a long & hot discussion my In laws gave medical papers showing incomplete treatment.
Meanwhile my father expired.
My In laws pressurized to accept her but I refused. In frustration the ended up relation with a list of articles & money. Both parties mutually signed.
My In laws were insisting on social separation rather than court. I refused.
After some time In laws requested me to talk to girl which I accepted.I discussed the matter & suggested her to have her own steps for future. Now its a month she never replied.
Recently my mother expired.
As a social norm I informed but no one cared or called.
Due family responsibilities & circumstances I left job in Jan-2012.
Now I came to know In laws are planning for court case but for what......
What should I do?
Please advise

Dear Sir/Madam,
I placed an order to "Naidhya Boutique" situated in Powai in september 2013 for designing 2 dresses for the occasion of my marriage in Nov'2013.The committed delivery for both the dresses was mid october 2013.The total amount for both the dresses was Rs.60,000 and i was asked to give an advance payment of Rs.30,000 at the time of order.I made the said advance payment.I didnt get the dresses made in time, infact after making repeated calls got one of the dresses after my marriage in the month of december. The dress which was sent to me was not as per my order so i sent it back to the boutique for giving me the dress as per my order. The concerned person whom i have been communicating was Naina from the boutique. There was no reply from Naina's side for many days and she always used to disconnect my calls because of which i had to repeatedly visit her boutique for which i had to spend a lot. After experiencing this ignorant behaviour of hers i asked her to make just one dress out of the two since she had an advance amount of Rs.30,000.She said that the dress she initially sent can't be altered so i should choose a different dress from the catalogue .I chose another dress to be made of the same amount to be recovered. She was supposed to design that dress before 31st dec 2013 for me but there was no response from her side regarding the same.On failure of delivery from her side i requested her to refund the advance amount of Rs.30,000.She refused to give me the amount and the desired dress.I have been suffering since september 2013 and have wasted a lot of money in commuting and making calls.Plus the trauma i faced at the time of my marriage for not getting the ordered dress for the function. This incidence has made me suffered both financially and emotionally. So iwish to request a claim of compensation along with the original recovery amount of Rs.30,000.Please guide me with the procedure to launch a complaint in the consumer forum and what best can be done to recover this amount.Email id: swati.satsangi@ymail.com.Looking forward for your reply.Thankyou.
