Hello all, I have pursued my b.com from CMJ university which is in meghalaya. I have done a regular course and not in distance. After I passed out in 2012. University was involved and accused of issuing 434 fake PHD certificates and there was a lot of investigation. Now many students are being the victim especially the Graduation students and noone has done it through distance. I am not able to get a job at this time as almost all of the companies are not accepting CMJ university certificates. I cannot even pursue my higher education as even most of the colleges dont accept CMJ students. I cannot even get my graduation done again as it will take another 3 years to complete my final year. What can i do? if anyone is in Meghalaya(Shillong) then please advice me the status of this University or guide me as to what I can do. I even attended for the student hearing. http://megeducation.gov.in/cmj_student_hearing.html
I read in the newspaper that government is not sure of the students who passed out and who is pursuing their education are genuine are not as the college computers were vandalised.
Please advice what needs to be done

Respected sir/ma'am,
Please clarify the below doubt..
Previous owner agreed to transfer the property to Mr.X. first, after some time that previous owner agreed with me as well (without knowing to me regarding previous agreement) to sell the property and even he registered in my name.
now Mr.X. said that the registration is void and even he wants to approach the court.
is there any law to make the registration void?
Please advise on the above. thanx.
Best regards,
Naveen.

Suit filed by the borrower for damages and subsequent suit for recovery filed by the bank were transferred to DRT and decided by a common order. Suit for damages was awarded against the Bank. Bank had not challenged the jurisdiction of DRT in damages suit then.
a) Can bank in appeal before DRAT, challenge the jurisdiction of DRT to decide suit for damages filed by the borrower before the bank filed suit for recovery?
b) Would situation be different if bank had earlier contested the jurisdiction before DRT itself?
c) Any other opinion /advice?

my family has been booked under fake 304B and due to excessive strikes and delays we had not been getting a hearing date for bail. we agreed on compromise and paid the entire compromise amount demanded to the complainant's private lawyer. the same has been paid in cash entirely widot any documentary proof on promise by the complainant's lawyer that he will help in finishing the case ASAP and my brother will be home soon. Can i trust the lawyer? is it normal thing that lawyers do in such cases?

Hello to all distinguished members. I would be really grateful if you could spare some time to answer these doubts.
1)Director of company in Bangalore issued check in favour of my firm in Nagpur from his personal bank account in Bangalore, the check dishonored. Whether check under N.I. Act can be instituted in Nagpur?
2)If the notice is received back undelievered (because accused is habitual to refuse communication) how to establish service of notice? Whether emailing the notice will serve the purpose?
Thanking you in anticipation.

I have two brother and one sister (also married). Elder brother unmarried and next brother (Amit) married staying in parental home owned by father & mother (deceased). I am also married. I used to visit my father but Amit press to leave my father's place and not allowing to stay overnight. Once my father got bed ridden in 2013, Amit took over full control of all FD (jointly with father & unmarried brother) as well as property paper. My father is pensioner and Amit now took grip of pension. Main entrance gate now under 24 hours lock and my entry to parental home denied. Recently started openly threatening that my elder brother entry to parental home after father death will be stopped. He will not be allowed to stay in parental home. Even declaring no property share will be given to me and my elder brother. Even his wife slapped my innocent brother. I am very much worried as my depressed brother may do suicide. The more we are leaving space the more we are cornered. To add, my 3rd brother died in 2001. His widowed wife was taken before court and by paying just 1.5 lakh she was forced to leave her rights. Please advise
