purchase of agricultural land by non agriculturists

Dear experts, reposting this as I didn't know how to remove the anonymous status: Recently Govt. Of Karnataka had come to a decision to allow non agriculturists with income limit upto Rs.25 lakhs to purchase agricultural land. Wish to know has this been passed in gazette & when will it be enforced. Also can a person after selling residential property use the sale proceeds to purchase any agricultural land. The residential property is in joint name of me & my friend & also purchase the farm in joint name as we intend to start polyhouse organic farm near tumkur.

Regards

Do my sons have rights on their grand father's house

Hello Experts, I am from Hyderabad, Telangana. My father in law has self acquired house. Myself and my husband developed the house investing about 13 lakhs since my marriage in 1999. My in laws have no source of income since my marriage. myself and my husband take care of the household and out of our earnings we constructed first floor and renovated ground floor also. During all these years they have taken the rent amount of 2 flats monthly in spite of we handling all the expenses. My in laws have 3 daughters elder to my husband. They have changed the mindset of my in laws for want of share in the property. They are claiming equal share. They are all well settled financially and their children are settled in foreign countries. We dont have any other house to live in. My in laws are even ready to sell the house and share equally. I have 2 sons aged 11 yrs and 4 yrs. What rights do my husband and sons have on this house. Will proceeding legally help us? Kindly advice.

Acquittal in 498a case, can i file defamation and other crimnal cases?

Hi Experts,

My 498a Final argument is in next week. I had submitted my written Statement u/s 313(5). Judge had read it and convinced me that he will acquit me after Final arguments.

My wife had not proved any single allegation , also when i took cross of my wife she just answered for many questions either "She dont remember" or " She denies it ". So from the cross point of view I am very dissatisfied as it was Judge who did not allowed us to take cross for long. Cross went for 3 hours ( in 2 days ) and firstly we just asked wife the sequence of events and to all which she agrees. After this when we wanted to ask counter questions Judge became rigid and said enough time and close the cross.

Judge later said as wife in her statement and evidence has not proved anything , cross has no meaning.

Wife had also put DV case in same court , but she withdrew it when i got visitation order of my daughter.

Now Divorce case is going on and Family court allowed her to take child abroad for 1 year for her employment purpose.

I want to understand do I stand a chance to put defamation + law of tort + any other criminal proceeding against wife to make her realise the wrong she did and bring her on terms related to shared custody/parenting for child.

I will try to persuade Judge to give acquital based on merit and not write prosecution could not prove beyond doubt so acquital. Is it Ok to ask the Judge to consider my written statements and exhibited evidences and give judgement that case was false?

Sudden change in eligibility criteria

The RBI has suddenly changed their eligibility criteria for officer examination from this year. They did notify in Aug itself but one has to study well in advance to cover the huge syllabus. Request to reconsider has fallen on deaf ears. Can they be legally forced to postpone new rules?

Police dropping sections of fir.

Respected Sir,
I have lodged FIR u/s 447,454,380 IPC.
Police upon investigation (perhaps under the pressure of some influence)reduced the crime to be committed u/s 448 IPC in the chargesheet.
1.Police did not investigated the matter properly hence dropped sec 454 and 380.?There is no mention of them in CS.What can be done now to ensure that the investigation must be done impartially and fairly?

Nbw - issued in 498a ipc case against a1

Dear sir,
sec 498A along with 3& 4 of DP Act R/W 34 IPC was booked on 5 persons in 2014, the trail is going on in CFM court A2-A5 got anti-bail and A1 is residing abroad from 2010, so he cannot produce himself before the court,in last hearing court issued NBW against A1.
During the court proceedings the respondent married two times with two different persons, it is a clear case of extorting money from In-laws, but police supporting the girl-side for gaining in some kind.
A1's marriage was dissolved through qazait-sunni and got certified by state waqf board in 2010.respondent filed a case against in-laws by saying lies that she is in marital intact with A1 before WomenPS in sep-2013 and case was booked, in oct-2013 she was married to a person by providing the divorce certificate (which is sent to her by A1 through reg. post). right now she is in relation with some other person.
quash proceeding's are going on in AP high court for A2-A5,nobody is responding to the court for hearing.

Q1.on what basis NBW is issued, in FIR police clearly says that A1 is residing out side INIDIA?

Q2.what if , the respondent is not attending the HIGH court's hearings, what are the ways to bound the respondent for compulsory attendance before HIGH court?

Q3. staying outside inida is a basis for 498A case?
