Maintenance for abandoned mother

1) My father has abandoned my mother in 2012. Since then we are living in the same house - my mother and me in the ground floor and he in the 1st floor. The house is his own.

2) Can maintenance be claimed retrospectively i.e since 2012 (OR) only from current date?

3) Though I am currently unemployed I am looking after my mother from the savings of my previous jobs. Does this capacity of mine to look after mother, absolve my father of giving maintenance to my mother?

Maintenance for abandoned mother

1) I am 29 years old unemployed. My mother has been abandoned by my father(retired Central Govt employee) since 2012 when he shifted to the 1st floor of the same house in which both of us live. The house is his own. We are living in the ground floor

2) He has not been paying any compensation to my mother since 2012 and on several occasions "dared to do our worst" when my mother demanded he pay her compensation.

3) He earns a pension of around Rs.35000. Hence how much maintenance can the court grant us?

4) Though I am currently unemployed, I am looking after my mother with my savings from previous employment. Will my capacity to look after my mother, absolve my father of paying compensation to my mother?

5) Since she has also previously faced acute sufferings at his hands, can she file "Domestic Harassment" case against him.

Query related to service matters in central government

Respected member,
my query is as follows:

1) Ex serviceman who have already joined government job in civil side after availing the benefits of ex serviceman for re employment.Does joining here includes training also or only joining after probation period?

2)As for availing Ex serviceman benefit, the person must celebrate his entitlement of completion of service. The Armed Forces have provision of one and half year NOC i.e the person can establish his entitlement within one and half year period from the date of issuance even if he is in the service.
My query is that the advertisement stated that entitlement must be established on 19.08.2006 which was established through proper channel by NOC but the person retired after the above mentioned date. Is it valid ?

Kindly consider this query as soon as possible
