Hello Mam / Sir,
My name is Ayush Agrawal.
I am going into packaging and marketing industry.
Ours will be a sole-proprietorship firm based in Madhya Pradesh with its office in Jabalpur.
We will outsource our products from Kerela.
Packaging will be done locally and marketing will be done through our various contacts.
We will be dealing in packaged Cereals, Dals, Flours, Spices, Spice Powders, Culinary Pastes, Masala Mixes, Oils, Health Foods, Snacks, Breakfast Cereals, Juices, Cookies & Millets among other items.
I am very weak when it comes to legal matters and do not know much about the various laws which would govern us.
What all would we be have to be careful about?
What all licenses and certificates would we be required to have?
Our business would come under purview of which departments of governments as we are currently only outsourcing our products and not growing them.
I have heard food department inspectors and excise department inspectors trouble a lot for funds and extort funds by mixing wrongful stuff in good packets.
Since we are dealing with foods, what all do we have to be careful about?
We are a very small startup and cannot afford bribes or even lawyers for that matter.
Any advice would be helpful.
Please not we have very less capital and cannot afford many things like lawyers and CAs right now.
We are 2 partners and not drawing salary and opened a sole proprietorship instead as income tax after 3 years would become 20 percent if we had opened a partnership.
One of us has given loan to firm and other has invested capital.

I supplied materials in one Gramin Bank through contractor. Contractor gave post-dated cheque for Rs.12.00 lac. One presentation cheque was returned with remark - "A/c frozen by the a/c holder." It might be possible that contractor either issued cheque of his frozen a/c or freezed the a/c after issue of cheque, which is fraudulent act of payer. Notice sent u/s 138 IPC read with sec 403,406 & 420 of IPC to both contractor & bank(Beneficiary. Bank is enjoying the items supplied without our transfer of right to Contractor or Bank.
My query is; (1). Can FIR be filed directly in Police station rather than complain case? & 92). Whether Bank, as direct Beneficiary, is also liable for action or not?

Under the Hindu Laws, what is the Right of Grand Daughter in the grand father's property, after her mother get divorced and taken away her daughters from her husband and remarried again with third person?
Dear Experts,
One of my uncle(friends father) registered property by gift deed to his 2 daughters without intimating to my friend. The property was a building with 3 floors & self acquired by my aunt who got expired 2yrs back due to some health problems. A 10/- Rs stamp paper is available with my uncle mentioned that the property was purchased by my aunt some years back No registration was done in the name of my aunt at that time purchasing.Ground floor was registered to small daughter, 1st floor was registered to 2nd daughter & 2nd floor was unregistered, Still now his daughters are leaving in the same city in a rental accommodation & are not occupied the property by any one, the whole building was given on rent & rent was collecting by my uncle. One more thing after registering the above mentioned property the gift deed registration documents was collected by uncle and kept with him & atleast a xerox copy is not given to his 2 daughters, No specific conditions are mentioned by my uncle in the gift deed. My friend in residing in different city by doing a private job. After completion of registration a application was given in municipality enclosing reg documents copies to name change in property gifted to his 2 daughters.Due to some reasons the names are not changed in municipality records. But now due to family mis-understandings and quarrels between my uncle and his small daughter now my uncle wants to cancel the gift registration.
Now My queries are:
1) What are the rights of my uncle to cancel the gift deed?
2) What are the right of my friend to avail the property share?
3) What are the rights of uncle's daughters in the property, after gift deed registration?
4) Is it possible to revoke the gift deed registration by my uncle, which the property was not self acquired/ earned by my uncle?
5) Is it possible for my friend to take any legal steps to avail property share rights now?
6) Last question my uncle want only to revoke the gift registration of his small daughter is it possible?
