After applying for LRS by paying 10,000/- by uploading the ULC Endorsement letter it was pointed out that the application has "shortfall" . The shortfall intimation mentioned that corrected ULC document must be uploaded. It was found that only Annexure had a typographical obvious error in plot no. (Say 102 vs 201 ).
Now why is this departmental error being pushed to the citizen for requesting the dept which committed error for correction? What are the timelines, who should be approached etx are not clear upon meeting the relevant offices. We are made to run from onevofficervto the other esp. those who are in leave or those who are eternally bust with meetings and conferences. Why do we see certain waiting rooms filled with haoless despondand people appearing to eternally waiting like beggars. I don't know how to make the officer concerned to institute the process of rectification of errorbon their part. To add to my woe, there is no information centre to guide people in the ghmc, wherin the ulc department is not apparantly seemlessly integrated..
Please tell me the course of action on my part.

Can I convert the appeal(divorce case) pending in HC court in to mutual divorce(13b) without my physical presence in court during 13b proceedings? I'm ready to give power of attorney to my advocate or someone else to convey my consent during 1st and 2nd motion of 13b.
I know its not normal procedure but would like to know whether the HC judge, in his discretion and based on my request, can give the family court such a direction while converting the appeal into 13b taking in to consideration that both parties had already gone through those conciliation proceedings.

Dear all...My wife has filed the case of 125 and interim of 8000 is decided by the court and I was giving the part payments as he filed execution for arears from the filing date. Due to some reasons I could not pay the maintenance AMT and court issued the conditional warrant as I had not presented in the court as I was not having the AMT. Now My advocate is saying that you will be given the sentence of 1 month and the execution will be over as judge can not sent me in the jail for same AMT which is pending for more than 9 months. Now my qyuery is if I will not pay the maintenance then for how much time judge can sent me in custody is it for one month or for 9 months as I have read that one month default one month Jail judge can take the decision pls clear my query

Hi,
I have bought a Plot from a close relative in 2012 and paid him two cheque and rest in cash. We got the registry in 2012 and mentioned the details of payment as two cheque and rest cash in registrar office. Later the person returned the cheque and asked me to pay in cash which I did but did not take an affidevit or reciept (considering the close relation) of the above change. My relative got a conflict with me in 2014 and now we are in very bad terms and he threatened to get the registry cancelled. Once I discovered that he is trying to cheat me, I got the mutation of the property done as per process. He is now trying to file a case against me for saying that cheque never got realised and I did not have reciept of cash payment nor an affidevit of change in mode of payment for above said property. I need to know following:
1. Can he file such a case against me?
2. Will registrar get registry cancel even i had got the mutation done on my name?
3. As registry was done in 2012 and mutation in early 2016. Is there any timelimit for him to file any such case?
3. what action should i take to stop his cheating?
Thanks

Who issue legal heirship certificate in gujarat where agriculture land is situated in village?
We live in Delhi at a place which is at the border of Haryana . My sister was married 8 months ago at a place in Haryana, which is about half an hour journey from our house. Mother-in-law and Husband started treating her very badly in the beginning itself. Three months back, she came to Delhi with her mother-in-law and husband but due to some arguments they left her on the way and she had to come to my house. Since then, she is residing with me and they are not ready to take her home and openly say that she may lodge complaint against them BUT WE DO NOT WANT TO LODGE ANY COMPLAINT.
My sister wants to go to her home on her own and has decided that she will stay there during the day and will come back in the evening to my place even if they do not talk to her. Her all belongings, even small things, are lying there. In this regard, your expert opinion is required on the following
1. As a lot to time has passed, can she on her own go there and stay there during the day and come back in the evening.
2. What options are available with her in-laws to prevent her from doing so.

The OP has filed private criminal case but summons not yet received. The argument stage is over and the status is 'Order' and one date is indicated. what does it mean. Whether police investgation is over or Magistrate is going to issue order of his own.
2. The defendant in this case had made police complaint much before the private criminal case but no FIR was lodged by police. Now whether the client can file private criminal case against the person who has filed case now before getting summons since police had not lodge FIR.
2. If summons / warrant is issued then what is the way to defend against private criminal case. How much time person gets to defend. Whether the fact of complaint lodged with police wil be useful to defend the case.
