The Co-Op.housing society arbitrarily collected non occupancy charges(in excess of 10 % as per by laws). The Dy. Registrar office has sent order to the society to refund excess amount but the society does not obey order. The Dy. registrar office is not not serious and does not take further action.
Can I file complaint in consumer court against society for recovery of excess payment collected by society and Dy.registrar office for failure to use his powers(does this matter come under jurisdiction of Con. Court)?
Suggest what can be done.

Can a company file writ petition before High court asking clarification on the pure question of law when alternative remedy of appeal also filed by the company and pending before appellate authority for long time and involving various years?

Dear sir,
11 years ago my father took an aircel post paid sim 9859983940,he hardly used it since he already had a prepaid sim. Today my father got a call that a case has been registered against him for non payment of postpaid bills worth 2000 in Delhi high court.Call was from a lady with mobile number 07551146926,she told to contact a lawyer whose number is 09990213988.They threatened to pay the bill in 30 mins else my dad will have to go to court.I already contacted aircel office ,they said number is blocked long back.First of all I want to ask....is this the way of aircel operator for extorting money from customers?If so,why didn't they notify before?Why are they notifying now after 10 years?They should atleast notify or call before filing any such case.Also when I asked the person,he abused and threatened me to pay the bill else my father will face consequences.I am really worried and depressed.Can anyone help ,Please?

Sirs, I had booked a Flat in project named Gayatriaura of M/s. Gayatri Hospitality And Realcon Ltd., H-133, Sector-63, NOIDA in December-2011. About 20-25% amount already deposited as per demand. No progress is seen in the project. The builder has not executed the Builder-Buyer agreement till date. Besides, builder has sold out the front area (land) of the project to someone else and changed the overall plan viz size, location of flat and other amenities. Due to uncertainty in the project I have requested to refund my deposited principal amount with due interest and compensation for loss of opportunity. Now, builder is not giving any response to my letters/reminders and no satisfactory reply on personal visit. Kindly guide me for the options available with me as per relevant laws. Warm Regards.

Hello i have already filed for a contested petition against my husband for cruelty & DV (genuine case with evidence) but we are yet to get a court date & lawyer is yet to send the petition to my husband who is residing in Dubai. My question is can i put the petition on hold ? If yes how long can i do that? I still see a chance of reconciliation and do not want to ruin it by sending the papers. Kindly advice.

My name is D.M.Merchant.
I have a civil writ petition appeal filed in mumbai high court.
My advocate says that he will have to appoint a Council in order to argue the matter in front of judge in high court.
I wish to know as to why can't my lawyer himself argue in high court since he is also a high court lawyer.
I also wish to know if appointing a Council is necessary or compulsory in high court or can my lawyer handle it himself.
Kindly guide me.
