My name figures in an FIR filed by the Police on 22nd July 2016 u/s 354 of IPC and u/s 10/12 of POCSO. Three months have passed and the Police has already filed the Preliminary Charge sheet. There is nothing mentioned in it about me although it is mentioned clearly in the Preliminary Charge sheet that the ‘ investigation is open.’
Can I file a defamation suit against the complainants now?

I have a relative whose mother got expired in 2012.
He received a notice under Section 133(6) calling of information.
In FY 2008-09, her mother purchased a property from Mr S.
In assessment proceedings of Mr.S for AY 2009-10, assessing officer is seeking information for that transaction from my relative's mother.
In this notice, he demands complete information (purchase deed, patta etc) related to that transaction.
Now, can anyone please suggest what he should reply to the notice, keeping in mind that he don't want to disclose any information related to that transaction.
Whether he can reply it through online or there is a need to sent it by post ?
Additionally, he don't want to put his name into this, so is there any way to avoid his name.

I and my wife both are Salary Earners and getting HRA. I have two houses. One house is rented and in other house my family (Wife) is living. I am living out of Country due to my employment. Can I give my house to my wife on Rent and can my wife claim HRA exemption?

my girlfriend and i, we both are adults. We are from BIHAR. And we are from different caste. She is Brahmin, her father is a strict retired army personal and i am Bhumihar. In March 2016 we conveyed our desire to to get married in front of our family. My family is ready for a proper traditional wedding with her but her parents are against it, at any cost.
At that time when we conveyed our desire, her parents declared that they will forcefully marry her to the boy of their choice. Due to that she went in deep depression. But recovered in due course of time. She is perfectly OK now.
Instead of conveying our desire to parents we could have ran away, but decided against it, keeping in mind our family's name and reputation. We thought that they will understand our feeling, love and dedication in due course of time.. but they did not..
Now they are fixing her marriage with someone else, without her consent.. she is going thought tremendous mental trauma. Her parents are threatening her to take her to their native village, where they intend to get her married. They are ever threatening her with her life..
I m dead sure that she will happy die rather than getting married to someone else, so am I..
She has even mailed me and hiked me (hike messenger) about all her sufferings, exact scenario, threats, etc in detail. She is also willing to give me written undertaking about all these things.
And she will never back-out from her words.
I just want to make sure that she doesn't have to face these tortures and she must not be forcefully married.
She is happily ready to give her statement in front of anyone..
Please help me, enlighten my path so that we can live happy beyond the boundaries of castes.
Please at least suggest me to whom OR/AND where I should contact. I will knock on each and every door unless provided justice.
If she will be forcefully married, she will take divorce. But its lengthy process. We are not legally or socially married, we both are too serious about each other.
Please help me.. Pleaseeeeee.
Will national commission for women take any action in this matter?
I want to know about what legal course of action do we have..

My father is a 55 years old man got engaged in an extra marital affair for last 1 year. When the family got to know about this, we asked him to leave us and live a separate life with the other lady.
But now, he wants to live with us. He also told us that he will inform other lady that he won't be engaging further with her.
He tried the same, changed his number and didn't talk to her for 3-4 days. That lady is a depression patient and she went to a nursing home with the complaint that she had an overdose of her depression medicine due to my father. Her family members or friends then called on my and my mother's number saying that if my father doesn't come we will have to face the repercussions.
Nursing home informed the police and gave them an MLC. The policeman came to us other day and asked my father to come to come to police station. She returned fine after 1-2 days and went to police station complaining that if my father does not come to meet her, she will file rape case against him.
Police then asked us to compromise with her and agree on her demand that my father will visit her daily for one hour. Now my father is living a life where family is not accepting him and he does not want to visit that lady as well.
My query is that the lady is a psycho and also threatened us that if my father will not come to visit her she will commit suicide and write my mother's name in the letter as the reason for that. Whereas my mother has no role in this.
She does not demand any money and only wants that my father live with her. Whereas, he does not want to go there at all.
My mother wants to get separated with my father and live with us. I am a 30 year old married man living with my family.
Now I plan to live with my wife and sister and mother. We want to get separated from our father so that no one threatens us for his bad deed.
Please advice.

A Lawyer arguing in Civil Court loudly abused by opposite litigant.
lawyer immediately filed an adjournment quoting said abuse and the court adjourned the case based on said ground.
Thereafter, lawyer filed a criminal complaint in criminal court having jurisdiction.
and
criminal court is in confusion whether he should take cognizance or that civil court where criminal act committed.
kindly suggest with citation.
For reference it is clarified that criminal court and civil court are different to each other and their presiding officers are also different.
