I have given my house construction work to a contractor.
In the stamp paper it is mentioned that he has to finish all mentioned work in the limited time. 16th February 2017 was the last date. I have remind him many time about the time bound in agreement, but he take it lightly.
Only boundary wall, main gate is left and he started skipping my work . I guess at the ongoing speed he will finish till 15 march.
My question is can I deduct some amount as a fine from the last amount which I have to pay him at the end of work?
* Nothing is mentioned in agreement about fine/punishment for not finishing work in given time limit.

I HAVE BEEN APPOINTED IN ONGC IN 2000 ALONGWITH 577 EMPLOYEES. WE ARE GETTING ALL THE BENEFITS AND ALLOWANCES AS PER REGULAR APPOINTMENT. IN THE YEAR 2005 ONGC HAS CHANGED OUR SERVICE CONDITIONS AND MADE US TENURE BASED EMPLOYEES ON FIX SALARY AND FOR 4 YEARS. EVERY FOUR YEARS THEY GIVE US EXTENTION. WE APPROACHED TRIBUNAL FOR JUSTICE. I AM ALSO IN THE LIST OF 577 EMPLOYEES. ALL EMPLOYEES HAVE BEEN GIVEN EXTENTION IN 2009 ALONGWITH ME. IN THE YEAR 11 TRIBUNAL PASSED ORDER IN EMPLOYEES FAVOUR. ONGC APPROACHED GUJARAT HIGH COURT. IN THE MEANTIME THE NEXT EXTENTION OF TENURE OF 4 YEARS IN 2013, I HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN EXTENTION WITHOUT ASSIGNING ANY REASONS. WE WON IN HIGH COURT IN APRIL 2013. ONGC FILED APPEAL IN DOUBLE BENCH AND LOST. ONGC FILE APPEAL IN SUPREME COURT AND SUPREME COURT DISMISS THE ONGC APPEAL AND ASKED TO IMPLEMENT THE HIGH COURT ORDER. IN GUJARAT HIGH COURT ORDER IT CLEARLY STATES THAT FROM THE FIRST INSTANCE OF TENURE IN 2005 ALL THE EMPLOYEES WOULD BE GIVEN REGULAR APPOINTMENT. I AM ON THE ONGC ROLLS IN 2005. BUT ONGC HAS NOT CONSIDERED ME AND GIVEN ME LETTER IN 2015 THAT MY 2013 TENURE WAS NOT EXTENDED DUE TO UNSATISFACTORY PERFORMANCE AND SINCE THE JUDGEMENT OF GUJARAT HIGH COURTS HAVE BEEN CAME IN APRIL 2013 AT THAT TIME I AM NOT ON THE ONGC ROLLS AND THEREFORE THE JUDGEMENT IS NOT APPLICABLE IN MY CASE.
NOW WHAT LEGAL REMEDY I HAVE ?
CAN I FILE CONTEMPT OF COURT ?

Sir i was charged under excise act 68/1/14 for drinking in college 4 years back. I was taken to the district and sessions court, where i was fined 200 rs , which i paid in front of CJM ,the next day..Now, i want to know whether i can get a govt job , under this case ? I am preparing for SSC and Bank jobs. Plz reply...
In case if not, what steps should i take to make myself eligible, as i am on verge of getting a good reputed central job.. PLz Help

I bought a plot of 1921 square feet in 2002 and got registered. the seller now telling us that we can get only 1200 square feet.he is asking us 700 sq/ft back. He had our sign on paper in 2002 (misguiding us) now he has put stone on dispited area. What can i do? I want to start construction. Can i get injunction order before starting construction. I have legal bond in which total area1921 sq/ft is mentioned.

Dear sir,
My father signed on empty promissory note in 2006 or 07 & the transaction closed in 2009 he is unaware to return his note.the other person filled the promissory note in 2016 and filed a suit for 300000.how can we prove that the gap between signature and note filling is huge.
please suggest me whether we go for expert opinion on age of ink factor or is there any options that we prove that the promissory note is very old.

Dear All,
My clients (a1 & a8) were convicted in 498a
all 4 witness tuned hostile, POLICE gave their versions as usual
and
defacto complainant and her mother gave their facts as usual
judge stated that that a1 managed and threatened the witness and accused has gone to such extent in doing so and this show the behaviour of a1.
No single material evidence of 498a
coming to a8, she has taken plea (alibi) that she is working, but could not produce document to that affect as such the company is closed
The same court acquitted remaining
QUERY:
when prosecution was not able to prove and all witness hostile
1) how can a1 or a8 be convicted
2) what would be grounds for a8 in appeal

Respected sir,
I obtained obc certificate for swami caste in 2014. Now from my cousions I came to know that I made wrong certificate. instead of swami caste it should be bairagi caste in the certificate. Since both casts are mentioned side by side in the state government list and both are bhramins due to some confusion it happened and I applied for swami caste whereas now I came to know that all my cousins have certificate of bairagi caste only. Now my real sister got her obc certificate with bairagi caste only. So shud I also apply for new certificate or get my old one corrected by referring to my sister's and other cousins certificate. Plus I have not used my obc anywhere becoz no such requirement appeared as such till date.

I was worked in an IT firm, their was a manager who molested me and ask for sexual favors. From then we have become good friends and had intimate relationship except sex. But now he is blackmailing me and saying that he will go to police and come to my company.
Due to societal abuse, I am not taking it to my bosses. Please help me and suggest how can i tackle him?
