A girl and her boyfriend is trying to mentally torture n pressurize me for money when I am not liable to pay any single penny to her and our money related give n take was settled up. She is trying to pressurize me by trying to disturb my friends and closed ones . Can I send her a notice that if she pokes me or my people again I'll take a legal action for that? And If she has any issues I am ready for all legal enquiries. Plz help me out. What can I do in this situation? (Give and take between us was in cash,but I can definitely prove that I don't owe her any money)

I have bought two adjacent flats. They are treated as two flats with two entrances, two electric meters, two agreements etc. One flat is owned by me with my wife as the joint owner and the other flat is owned by my wife with me as the joint owner. We have made a small opening about five feet in the brick wall connecting the two flats. The RCC construction has not been disturbed. The internal water and electricity connections have not been disturbed. The rest of the wall is intact. On taking possession, permission was sought from the builder to do this as the society had not been formed at that time. Is the opening legal and if not how do I regularize it. What are the relevant provisions of the law and Act dealing with this minor matter.

My friend has been forced into a marriage under pressure and also drugs him during marriage procedure by his own family 2 years ago..After that he started to live alone separately from his family..Now his so called wife gave birth to a son but since he does not have any physical intimacy with her after marriage..He doubts the child to be his..But his family is insisting that the child is his and also in birth certificate they got it registered which he disapproves...Now he want to get full rid of his family and that lady with baby..He got so fed up that now he wants to file a case against his family and that lady to prove the truth..Can it be annulment of marriage on the grounds of wife having a child from other person other than him..?

complaint under 376, boy promised to marry and had physical relationship, backed out from marriage , after fixing up marriage date, girl made huge expenditure for marriage of 18 lakhs, boy demanded 25 lakhs for marriage, after that girl tried to commit suicide consuming phenyl, she survived , but now she is critical and chances of survival is nil. boy filed ABA in High court, charge sheet is pending. Pls advise what will be impact if girl dies at this stage, What should be next course of action help girl to get justice, her life is spoiled, she is breathing her last. will man still get bail on the basis of consensual relationship. Boy also had few tola of gold which girl prepared for marriage

My brother got engaged on 18 Jul 2015 and marriage was decided for Feb 2016. My father passed away in an accident in Sep 2015 after which we made it very clear to the girls family that marriage cannot take place before a year as this is the common custom in our religion and region. My mother who was living alone in a rented flat moved to my brothers place in Dec 2015. Girl started questioning my mothers stay with my brother and then family was also pressing for early marriage and started talking nonsense about my father that it was his fate that he has left this world early and now they should get married. On the other side girl was continuously telling my brother that if u cannot have all the time for me then better u break the marriage. So finally in Jan 2016 we called off the marriage. We have proof as in messages sent by girl to my brother to call off the marriage. After this they demanded the expenses they did for the engagement. The bill they are giving is of 7.5 lacs which include bill for the hotel and cost of gold and clothes and other small gifts and the sweets they purchased for that day. We also gifted them for around 1.5 lacs. They are showing their hotel expenditure as 3.5 lacs but we have seen the bill which was of 1.68 lacs. After all this threat calls for false dowry case, the girl got married with another boy in Nov 2016 . Now they are again coming and asking for same money. My brother is still not married. This time they have filed some case for which we received a police notice also. We are going to follow whatever is the legal course but I want to know what will be the maximum amount which court can ask us to pay them? We have all their gifts still with us and we are ready to exchange with our which they must be having with them.

Facts. A is a tenant (82 Years) in an accommodation, in a building constructed before 1930 and has been staying in the since 1936 rented by his decd father paying rent regularly till date. The rented property (tenancy transferred in his name) is situated in Dadar , mumbai on 3rd floor. The persons staying with tenant wife , son and daughter. Due to old age tenant is unable to climb on third floor and there is no lift. The tenant has moved to Pune where he stays in a new flat purchased by him which is on 1st floor and convinient in his old age for over past 7 years. He visits his Mumbai rented property regularly and maintains. His son and daughter , staying with tenant(father) for over 26 years are NRIs and not staying in the property for last over 25 years.
Land lord's title to the building is not yet clear and the title to the property has not yet been transferred in their name as their grandfather who died intestate , The owner(grandfather) of the property with only one daughter now decd ( decd mother of heirs) in whose name the building is not yet transferred . Post this the building will be transferred to the two sons (heirs) who are having dispute between them also which is pending in court. One of the heirs is pressurizing the tenant to give up his tenenacy right for compensation post which the property is likely to go in redevelopment subject to resolution of dispute between them.
Querries:
1. Does tenant lose his tenancy right after staying for over 70 years as he is staying away due to old age.?
2. Can land lord pressurize tenant to accept compensation ?
3. Does NRI lose right to stay in rented property after taking up employment outside India?
What is the position in Law of all the persons in question/ Both landlords/ heirs as well as tenents.
3. Can tenancy right be transferred to either son or daughter who are NRIs and may return to India post retirement?
