Please pardon in case this is a wrong forum for this query. But i think our members are versatile enough to tackle any area.

An NBFC is required to maintain a min Net Owned Fund (NOF) of 200 lacs.

My query is what should an investment company (NBFC) do in case its NOF as at the end of the year falls below the stipulated limit due to a fall in the market prices of shares owned by it.

Does the RBI registration automatically get cancelled ?

Is it requried to mandatorily raise the equity ?

A factory had declared 17 days leave as Diwali Vacation in the year 2007. Can it adjust this against the privileged leave available to the employees. If yes, then whetehr any consent from the employee / labour inspector is requried in this regard ?

Cheque bouncing

Dear All
My client has given a loan to a person of Rs.50000 by cheque. She is a house wife and rarely lends money. Now the borrower has issued a cheque to her which has bounced. she want to file a case under sec. 138 of NI Act.
The query is whether she is required to be registered as money lender under the Bombay Money Lenders Act?

import contract from taiwan

We are importing some big machinery from Taiwan.
and in our contract the arbitration venue under arbitration clause is "Paris". Some one has suggested that the venue should be at Singapore
please tell where should the venue of arbitration be best for us in any international agreement. or it does not matter where ever it is?
