my society has gone for external plaster works, every tenants was asked to pay 40000/- in installment, but however most of the tenant due to financial obligation could not make the payment of installment. Society then informed all tenants that they will penalize 500/- monthly for not making the payment. However entire 40,000/- was payed to the society before the ommencement of plastering work by the tenants, some tenant still has to pay the amount . our plastering work has been completed recently. The society is asking the penalty of 500/- monthly for delayed months, from the tenants who has already payed 40000 before commencement of plastering works which goes to 4-5000/- as penalty.kindly advice.

sir,
As per provision of PNDT Act I served a legal notice upon the Appropirate Authority to take action against the doctors of Civil Hospital who voilated the provision of the ACt. When no action was taken by the Appropriate Authority then I filed a complaint under the provisions of ACt agaisnt the Govt. Doctors . Whether Sanction to prosecute is required when there is no specific provision under the Act? It is made clear that i sought the sanction from the Govt but no reply was given by the Goct.
Hi
on of my client is intimated by ESIC to pay arrears of interest amount of ESI for the period 2001-02.
the history is that ...
My client was not came in the provision of ESIC. As they have expanded business ESIC was affected unfortunately they were unaware regarding that.
As a notice issued by the said corporation after 3 years my client fully paid the noticed amount of ESI.
and till today they are regularly paying the contribution without fail.
now the problem is that the corporation had issued notice to pay interest @18% on the amount which they had paid late.
should the party pay that what they claimed?
Is the corporation has right to issue such notice??????
If they refuse to pay what are the provisions for punishment?
pl reply as soon as possible.
