Non acceptance of resignation

Respected Sir/Madam, I work with a Professional Services(Business Consulting) company in Bangalore. I submitted my resignation via email (email is the main communication tool for such purpose) to my manager along with copy to the entire HR team of my company on 26-Dec-2018. As mandated by my Employment Letter, I am expected to serve '1-Month' notice period. Therefore, in my resignation email communication, I communicated the same to the managers and HR team and informed them that I will serve till 31-Jan-2019 (the total days served works to more than 30 days of notice). However, since I submitted my resignation officially, the company has not officially accepted my resignation as well as confirmed on the last working day that I had informed them. In my discussion with the manager as well as the HR head, they requested that I extend my last working day by 15 days. However, I politely told them that I cannot do so, as my next joining date is immedeate. I wanted an opinion in such matters, with regards to options avaialble for me to take a legal recourse. My main concern is that the current company may delay in issuance of the experience letter and the service letter, which I need to submit to my next employer. I kindly request the knowledgable members of this forum to kindly advice. Anticpating your feedback and suggestions. Regards

Criminal action against erring govt servants

Sir/Madam, I am into Social Work on a serious basis. I often file complaints / petitions to Municipal, Electricity, Water Works Departments against illegal constructions, encroachments and other such violations. However the Govt Officials just do some initial work and then stop taking action against such violators. Further when such complaints are escalated to higher authorities no action is taken.

My Question: Can I file a Criminal Complaint against such erring Govt Officials on grounds of Negligence or other sections of Law so that Officials will do as per duty as deemed fit to help India make a better place.

Appeal divorce, Child custody, Alimony

Hi,
I had filed divorce petition against my wife. The court has sent summons to my wife and she wantedly refused to collect the petition papers twice and didn't attend the court hearings. After the third hearing, court has granted me the exparte divorce.

Also as per HMA, time period which is 90days for appeal has been expired.

Now my concerns are as follows:

1. Is there any chances to appeal the divorce order?

2. My wife and her parents are forcing me to settle the alimony outside of the court. I told them that I will settle the alimony matter in the court only.

3. My wife and her parents told me that she will give my son which is 2 years old now. How can I get my son to my custody in legal?

4. Currently there are no cases on me. So other than alimony, is there any cases which my wife can file in future?

5. Day by day my wife and her parents torturing me and my family members through mediators and also my wife and her parents are lying/spreading rumours that I had taken divorce without their knowledge. I went to police station but they are refusing to take a report due to my wife political pressure. So, How to take an action on them?

6. Am I eligible for re-marriage?

Kindly advise me with your valuable suggestions. Your suggestions are very important to me and to my family.

Thanks in advance,

Vinay.

Encroachment on underground water tank by an apartment owner

Our building is an Apartments not registered as a Cooperative Society and has been constructed in 2000. The aparment owners on the ground floor have encroached upon the common areas of the building. They have made construction over the top of the underground water tank and have also put tiles over it. They have blocked access to the water tank by blocking the area with a gate that is kept under lock and key by them. They are using the top of the underground water tank for their general dwelling and kept some material over it. They have constructed a utensil washing area very close to the opening of the tank. Recently the water from that washing area entered into the tank contaminating the water posing danger to the health of the residents of the Apartments.
Please suggest what legal recourse can be had against the encroachment and how they can be compelled to remove the encroachment.
