I am lending money to a friend and planning to get a promissory note signed by him
Plz guide on preparation and precautions to be taken care for preparing PN
Should there be witness in promissory note (I read somewhere that adding witness should be avoided because if witness is added then promissory note becomes a bond)
Is a receipt for payment is mandotary ?
What should be the cost of stamp on which the PN is made?
If I am taking advance cheques then should I mention it in the PN(I read that if the cheque numbers are mentioned then it becomes security cheques and hence u cannot file legal suit
Also heard that taking advance PDC / blank cheque is illegal)
Is it safe to give 3-4 lakhs over PN
Request to plz clarify and also give a safe format of promissory note that should ensure safety of my money

Respected Sir/Madam,
My name is Mahesh and I'm living in Mulund with my family in Pagdi system from last 40 years. We have slum pagdi system chawl in Mulund( MUMBAI ). My landlord sell land to other builder. builder want redevelopment of slum under SRA scheme but we don't want SRA scheme. We want development under private society with livable area. can we approach To MMRDA or Mhada for Redevelopment and what is the procedure ??

In the high court order issued, there was a sentence pleader submission is placed. on record and counter to that effect be filed. The pleader has told that he has filed the counter. What i have been told is that counter is what the pleader recorded or terms agreed in the court before the justice.Where can i get that counter copy ?

In a divorce case, a respondent has cross-examined of witness of the petitioner. After cross-examination taken by respondent, he mentioned to court that the cross-examination of the witness is over and the court typed that cross-examination of the witness is over. Now, the respondent wants more examine the witness (of the petitioner) about new facts.
Question: Can respondent more examine the witness (of the petitioner) about new facts though he mentioned to the court that the cross-examination of the witness is over? If yes then, How?

Dear Experts,
I had sacrificed my well settled carrier only to revenge from my characterless wife and his boy friend who beaten with a lame excuse. He is a politically influenced person of ruling Party here in West Bengal . I have failed to collect a single witness for his unlawful action. I had left my rented house in march, 2017 and the greedy lady filed 498a, 406,34B and DV .I have concealed my employment and declared as jobless in the court last week. Last 3 years she only allowed her boy friend in her room though we lived under the same roof. I beard with all for the sake of my son who is right 12 years old. I have no movable/immovable property to be attached. Me only son of parents. Mother expired 2 years ago and father at 81 yrs old waiting for his turn and lives on a caretaker at my native place from 200 km away from here in Kolkata.
Deliberately I have not registered my father’s property in my name .I am paying 5 Nos. of LIC policies of my own and 3Nos for my son (who is with my wife).
Plz share some tips or way out......
1) Should I surrender all the LIC policies of my name or Make the FDs premature? So that court can’t attach it. Right now I am 48 nothing to achieve out life. Amicable solution is not possible as she already refused it. In DV she claimed Rs.20.00 Lac compensation of being emotionally tortured.
2) Is there any option so that I can hide my income (Salary) details from my characterless wife. for whom a maintenance is going to be awarded in the next date. Now I am an employee of a Private company with handsome salary. I have no idea how RTI Act works in this matter.Is there any chance to get information by her from PF Dept about my new employment?
3) Is 91Crpc works to get information from the IT Dept tagging my PAN and collect the statement for last 1 year?

I have doubt of how / what / what not to claim ITC for Works Contract.
We are a home and office renovation company who take over contracts which involve, construction, demolition, interior designing, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, furnishing, painting, packers and movers, etc.
We are not sure how much to charge GST for customers and what all things can we claim ITC for?
We buy stuff from lot of dealers and pay different GST rates for different items, and we do not want to disclose the purchase price to the customer.

Respected Sir,
It is submitted that my father has execute a will and registered in Tehsil office in Haryana before many years ago and after execution of deed my father has been expired due to illness. At that time I was aged about 15 years ago and no knowing about the will. At present I have discussed with my father’s friend regarding will and he intimated that before many years ago your father has executed a registered will but I do not know in which year will is registered in tehsil office.
Please intimate how I locate my father’s will and after registered in tehsil office it is foundable in tehsil office or not because I have not any number and year in which will is registered. Please guide me.
