Return of ration card

My husband has filed a divorce matter against me. Since 19 year we are not in the relationship. Come home and meet children in Go away. He has also done. Now he has filed an application for returning of original ration card from me but I cannot give him since it is a legal proof of my and my children also he want a divorce and his living with the second wife that also has issued one ration card which has name of 2nd wife and his child but not my husband's name please advise me what should I do I don't want to give original ration card. Also demanded the house where I am living and wanted to throw me out and you do not have any proof accept that ration card hence he is asking for the same. Please advise me what should I do I don't want to give him because he will misuse and he will delete my name in future.

He can not asked for your ration card,but can ask for his own ration card.

And don't worry he can not throw you out,please appoint a prudent lawyer from your local court,he will assist you best,because we need to know all facts of case.So ASAP appoint lawyer

What he can get is not the Ration Card containing your name but a Reduction Certificate pertaining to him if he wants to have a different card for him.

Let the court further decide as to his divorce petition and other matters unless both of you are not ready for a negotiated settlement.

As per statement , he has filed a petition for returning the Ration card... So you file a counter with all contents as stated here....without obtain the order from the court he can not claim as if.. Consult local lawyer and act accordingly

Offence is the best defence. Why don't you file DV Act petition against your husband not only from your side but also on behalf of your children living with you?

As your husband has filed he civil suit against you, engage a lawyer and file written statement containing all facts.

You need not to return the said Ration Card or any other card without having the order of the highest court.

He has filed a petition before court seeking return of ration card.
You file a counter objection to his petition denying all his allegations.
You can refuse to handover the ration card for the reasons what you hav stated here or for another reasons in addition to this that you may rely upon.
You can refuse to leave the house stating that it is your matrimonial home and until you are accommodated in a different house you cannot leave the said home.
You have to fight out the menace strongly either through your advocate or as a party in person if yo feel that your advocate is not effectively taking up your case.
