Resp Sirs,
We are executing an Order for coal handling plant in a Thermal Power Plant, which is situated in the state of Maharashtra, on Turnkey basis. The socpe of work includs Design, Engineering, Manufacture, procurement, supplies, transportation to Site,Civil works, Structural works, installation works, testing & commissioning, and performence tests.
The value of the Order mentined in the Contract is as below.
1) Ex works supplies = Rs. A
2) Transportation & Insurance = Rs.B
3) Civil Works = Rs. C
4) Structural works = Rs. D
5) Instalaltion works = Rs. E
Please advise, as to, on which component, cess to be paid as per BOCW Act? Is it on the value of Civil works? or on entire Order value?....With Regards...hapatel

My pensioner friend received a letter from compliance Management Cell asking to give info. about time deposit of FY 2009-10( He was not having any FD in that year.) & weahter return filled or not from FY 2009-10 onwards. He has not filled any return from then He has to reply with 10 days. Pls. suggest. Can he file return from FY 2009-10?.

In period of 7 years,in 2 different (hyderabad) PS 498a was compromised in two different time period, a wife takes sleeping pills demanding for immediate divorce case withdrawl. But OP withdrawn after family court kept for observation for few monhts.Now later after few months she again taken pills alleging the fidelity of the husband & various other past reasons.
Now mother in law threatens to son in law that , he has to find out the root cause why her daughter wants to suicide and work for solution otherwise she would write to the police.
Meanwhile mother in law takes the wife to psychiatrist & doctor after investigation prescribed her for 4 weeks, some medicine to forgot the past. But all the medication/doctor fees/charges are to borne by husband & prescription is kept secretly with mother - law.
What can be done by husband under these 7 hard/suffering years tenure's false 498a/compromise cases, suicide threats ?

I had brought a property and paid stampduty and registration charges. I had signed part payment agreement for the same. Now after getting the loan from the bank i want to register final agreement where full payment has been done to seller. what are rules for such cases and what stamp duty will be required as per Maharashtra law?

Dear All,
Sec 146 of tge M.V.Act makes third party insurance mandatory for all vehicles. And as per sec 147 the Insurers send intimation for cancellation of a cover note/policy to the Insured as well as the RTO so that the RTO initiates appropriate action against such offending owner of the vehicle. It is only in the light of the mandatory provisions of thr M.V.Act that the Insurer sends these intimations to the RTO. Should these intimations be maintained by the RTO as a part of his records? If the Insurers have not complied with sending these intimations to the RTO, does it not amount to a lapse on the part of the RTO in enforcing the provisions of the M.V.Act?

my wife's father and mother both died leaving behind one property. my wife's elder sister ( only two sisters) has forcibly occupied the house and now denying the partition. what are the ways and means available to my wife. can she have the following solution.
1) to send a legal notice to evacuate the house that she is forcibly occupied now.
2) to send a legal notice to give share
please do advice.

If 498A FIR done through 156(3) in court, can chargesheet have new allegations or chargesheet will be limited to the mentioned incidents of FIR with elaboration.
