I just sold my old house in 20 lacs and the buyer made the registry on 17.4 lacs rupees.
so out of 20 lacs 7.5 lacs I have given to my uncle in cash and rest 12.5 lacs buyer cheque to my icici saving account. .. in the deed buyer mentioned the cheque no. and amount 12 lacs and 50 deposited cash to my account.
mt question is do I have to pay any tax.

I am working on a regular post, through UPSC, in a state government. after 3 years of service I applied ,through Proper channel,for another job through UPSC. Now I have received intimation from UPSC that my name has been recommended to the concerned ministry for the post.Can I ask for technical resignation from my present employer based on the upsc letter. Or should I wait for the appointment letter from the future employer.

SIR, IF SOME IS CHARGSHEETED UNDER 498A, 313,506,504 AND 3/4 DP ACT, AND HE WANT TO FILE THE DISCHARGE APPLICATION BEFORE FRAMING OF CHARGES THEN WHEN HE HAS TO APPLY FOR IT, ON THE DATE WHEN NOTICE IS ISSUED BY THE COURT OR BEFORE THAT, AND HE HAS TO APPLY FOR THE BAIL OR DOSES NOT REQUIRED TILL THE DISPOSAL OF CASE.

Someone I know is in need of help as she is facing Domestic violence. She is married since 25 years and has 2 children, 1 girl aged 17 years and a boy aged 18 years both are students. She is financially not sound and may not be able to afford an Advocate. She wants to complain. Please help me with the address of the Protection officer in Mira Road, Thane. (I tried searching the internet but I am unable to find) If there is no protection officer then can she go to the police station and will the police help her to register Domestic Incident Report (because it is civil case). The lady is scared as she is afraid that her husband will get violent if he learns about her approaching police. Experts living in Mira road, Thane, Maharashtra, please reply. Thank You

I am working in a company where they dont have provision to issue appointment letter. They issue only Offer letter which contains details about the designation offered, date of joining, probation period, Leaves, Notice period, termination etc just like an appointment letter. But still as per law is it acceptable. Please guide me on this.

Hi All,
I have been staying in a rented house from 01/04/2013 to 28/02/2014.My owner called me on 4 of Feb 2014 and asked me to vacate as he is going to shift. Now i got another house by 9th Feb and informed him that i have received a new house and decided to vacate.So the owner agreed to give me back my advance and he will charge me rent till 10 of Feb only . Now after vacating the house his relative called me and asked me to pay rent for the entire month to the owner.Now owner is also asking me to pay for entire month. Is there any law that protects me in this case i dont want to give any more money as it was owner who has asked to me to vacate so whatever date i leave i should not be charged for extra days.

Mr X has written a will bequeathing his house to his three grandsons after the death of his wife and his daughter.He ha not given righ to sell ,to both his wife and daughter. I the grandsons want to sell the property whihch is mutated in their names, is the legal heir certificate required for them. Some of the buyers are insisting for this. plese clarify

why we need to submit an copy of suit in consumer court (or in any court) on ledger paper(light green paper)??? i.e. why we use green ledger paper instead of white paper?
and is there any difference between legal paper and ledge paper?
