i have a cold storage .since it is used for the preservation of food articles can it be called an industrial activity. earlier this was an ancillary industrial activity.

I want to ask one question ,my friends mother got gift of agri land from her mother 28 years ago. now my friends mother's land was purchased by govt. for public purpose ,she got money from govt. as she had her name on 7/12 paper she got whole amount on her name ,now her brother and his son file a suit against her asking their share in that land they file a suit on the basis that the said land was ancestral land & all family members have their share in that said land .so can they have any such right in gifted property ?

Dear Experts, in our society we people do not have roof on windows (one side is open from roof to floor, having straight fitting grills, in line with walls) which can shed from rainy water. in monsoon, experiencing water in house is a common problem for us. we have to tie plastics cover to avoid it. now, we people need to provide a roof to our windows. for this we have to make box grill fitted to our windows (which will go out from wall approx 1ft). We need to know can we fix box grill to windows?

I & my wife have availed House building loan jointly for one house since the property is documented jointly. Int on HBL is Rs. 2,00,000/- for FY-13-14. My wife is a house wife & she is not having any source of income.I have been paying the EMI out of my salary income & filing IT return . Shall I avail 1,50,000 deduction U/S-24(b)or Shall I avail only 1,00,000/- since the loan is joint account.

We are three brothers, and as usual there is some property of our parents in the form of flats. Both parents have died, and both flats are in our mothers name.
No brother agrees to settle the dispute over property in mutual understanding.
What are the options other than court case ?
Can there be forceful partition if any one brother applies for partition claim ?

Last week court sanctioned Ex.Party Divorce to me and with help of Divorce copy I can go for quashing 498a case and Maintenance case in high court.So pls kindly give your valuable suggestion on this. Thanking you.

Rebate u/s 87a and tds
One of employee has not provided PAN Number. Hence we have to deduct TDS on his Salary at higher rate as applicable.
My question is to calculate TDS on his Salary, he will get benefit u/s 87A or not? His income from Salary is less than Rs.5,00,000.
