I live in a society where the land belongs to the Trust. But the Co-operative society has also been formed in 1999. At the time of redevelopment Trust has offered the flats on ownership basis. Most of the tenants have accepted this and became the flat owners and are the members of co-opertaive society. There are about 15 out of 72 who did not accept this and remained tenants. Till date they are tenants of the Trust.
Till date 80% of the occupant have not paid the property taxes. The amount is now 1.5 cr. The society members also say that we are not suppose to pay the taxes. The trust will pay the taxes and they are not letting others also to pay.
It been cleary mentioned in the agreement attached that the occupier will have to pay the taxes.
The BMC has sent an aution notice. Please guide who is supposed to pay the property tax in case of owners and tanants.

IN MOST OF THE MARRIAGE RELATED CASES THE BRIDE SAYS THEY HAVE GIVEN HUGE DOWRY.
NORMALLY THE OTHER SIDE TRIES TO CONTRADICT IT BY EVIDENCE THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE THAT MUCH CAPACITY.
HOWEVER IF ON STRENGTH OF THIS PLEADING IF COMPLAINT U/S 3 OF DOWRY ACT IS GIVEN WHAT WILL BE IMPLICATIONS.
In my case the the other side that is bride has claimed that her parents has given dowry of two lacs cash and 75 gms gold worth three lacs. So can I file a complaint in the same court under 156 (3) and what will be implications for me.

dear sir, six months back i sold my two wheeler(suziki) to near by personnel. As on today the vehicle registration name still on my name only as per RTA website. i don't have any evidence that i sold to him, pl. let me know any precautions to be taken care/legally? thanks in advance,

my name is Feroz R D. i am a native of Gadag and a Muslim.i am a lecturer in a govt aided polytechnic in Bangalore. i got married to one Aisha Banu Kadapa from Hubli in 2001 . There was lot of problems from her from the start of marriage. i was seperated from my parents and i had to live in bangalore with her, leaving my aged parents in Gadag. we had two children one boy and a girl. Every time she and her family would threaten me with 498a.
in year 2006 she quarreled with me and left my house in Bangalore taking my children from me and cancelling their admission from a reputed school Florence Public School to which i had paid donation amount.she filed a maintenance case in 2007. even after many persuasion from me and my elders for reconciliation, for 5-6 times she didn't return back. i pronounced Talaq in 2008.she filed the dreaded 498a in Hubli Court as she and her family had been threatening me, with many other cases on me immediately after this.i got married to another girl but am not able to live peacefully due to the mental torture from her. Now she had been getting maintenance of 5000rs since 2007.
Now she has got one order from hubli court which grants her 40% of my present salary.i have totally lost hope from the Judicial system .i am unable to bear the injustice meted out to me. kindly guide me out of this problem. It is a question of life and death for me.

Dear Experts,
In 2012 there was a client of mine who used to purchase material from me regularly. But in start of 2013 he gave me a call and told me that he is diversifying his business and going to start a new business. At that time I was not bothered because he used to pay his pending bills regularly. But soon after that call he has stopped recieving my calls. But when I called from a different number in may 2013, he answered my call and told me that he will pay the money of Rs. 53250/- of pending invoices within 1 month. After that he has changed his number. However I have his office and house adddress. The major mistake that I made was I don't have his post dated cheque. So, is there any other way that I can take a legal action. I have all delivery challans and invoices issued to him.

Hi,
My father mentally tortures and is abusive towards my wife. We have logged a police complaint where my father was warned by the inspector for any misbehaviour. He has mellowed down on the abuses post the report.
He now talks with neighbours and other society members and bad mouths about her.
He has also issued a public notice where he has falsely claimed about torture, harassment and also claims that she is trying to throw him out of the house taking help of my mother and me.
Please help and guide about my legal rights

I have been staying with my father for over 35 years. He has indulged into wife beating and has had abusive beheaviour towards his wife, 4 daughters, a son (myself) and now my wife. I am married for over 7 years now.
Post 7 years of torture on suggestions from my mother and my 4 sisters we have registered our views with ht eborivali Police station. we were asked if we want my father jailed but as he is my father we asked for professional guidance and help instead of Jail for my father. Post which he has been relatively mellowed down towards my wife for sometime, hs mental torture and abusive beheaviour towards my mother remained unchanged.
Now he has resorted to defame all 3 of us in our society and now has issued a public notice in the newspapers. Request you to guide wih professional help.

Hi,
The house I reside is in joint names of My Father and My Mother.
I wish to understand...
(1) If my mother writes her will to transfer her movable and immovable property in her son (my) name, who will be the lawful and rightful owner of her share in the property be?
(2) If my mother wishes to transfer her share of the ownership of property in my name will we need approval or signature of the other share owner too?
(3) Based on a will in my favour, who will be the rightful heir of the ornaments, be?
(4) Do you provide legal assistance if required on the basis of above mentioned request?
(5) My father has falsely claimed about harassment and has issued a public notice with a help of a lawyer stating that he disowns me, Will this prove any hindrance in being a rightful heir as per the will of my mother?

Can a Pagdi property can be given on rent
Respected Sir/madam
I have a Pagdi property in ghatkopar for past 15 yrs . That shop I have been giving it on rent for so long now the society has issued a letter saying Pagdi propert I.e tenancy propert cannot be sublet for rent . I have no idea regarding this ,can I not put this property on leave and license . Is there any law stating otherwise .
