Respected sir, the grandfather of my wife had died for last 15 years and he was the owner of a huge amount of land. the grandfather have three sons in which the father of my wife is one and they are trying to sell the land without informing my wife. it is also mentioned that my wife have two brothers and no sister. now the question is that have my wife any right on the said property and yes then what is her share. with regards, karan singh

Since I am confused about the way I must go about this , am posting my question for advice.
Wrong act on the part of Electricity Officials- Allahabad:
My parents[Senior Citizen] are not much educated & economically not very strong and are staying in Allahabad.
My parents are living in a small old premises of 2 rented rooms in Allahabad.Our electricity bill was pending since long bec of my parents inability to pay the bills which kept on acculumating in form of penalties & surcharges since 2005
Most recently, i [living in Ahmedabad Gujarat]saved some amount from my earnings and wanted to get the bill settled which was about 1.5 lac.
My parents approached the JE & SDO , communicated our economic status and requested for help. They bluntly told them "1lac lagega"
They told them that we can max manage to pay 70000.on which SDO told "90000 se kuch kam nhi hoga" and this kept on for quite some time.
Finally, my parents got a apparently good (JE)person in the different area who got the things done for us in 70000/-. He told us that this connection will be settled and new connection will be issued after sometime.
my father did as he asked them. They deposited 70000/- and after sometime they surprisingly got a PD receipt of final settlement of somewhat 12000/-. He told them that this is settled and the rest amount has been appropriated to the officials for the settlement.
We didnt understood this but got releived that the finally we paid the dues and no amount stands at either part since this took so long and my parents are also not doing well with their health.
After a week we went ahead in applying for a new connection in FEB 2014 and the result was that the officers [SDO & JE of our area]started with the bribe amount of 20000/- for new connection as they told my parents that they were not given any amount from the previously settled bill.So, if they wanted new connection, they need to give 20000/-cash. Everytime he used to ask for bribe on repeated requests form our side which continued for 20days.
Finally my parents approached a MP to get the things going who also asked the SDO to get the things going and explaining to him our poor financial and health condition.
On this he made a visit at our premises and asked us again to pay 20000/- or face theft charges as our previous connection got settled.
he left the home asking us to visit his office.
All this happened in between 1-15 feb.From that day my parents were living without electricity in our house.
When again we approached the MP, and his subsequent questioning the SDO, the SDO made a fake report dated 28th Feb 2014 in his office without actually visit the location- of theft of electricity and also of the earlier dues of 1.8lac [PD receipt shown] which he says he will not accept being settled as this doesnt bears his signatures.
He made that Fake report of theft and lodged an FIR in the police station stating that after disconnection, still illegal line was found and was refused to show the meter which as per his view was present inside the premises of the consumer. Also, that the consumer refused to take the notice which was pasted in his premises . All this was fake.
He even sent a notice through registered post.
I am living since last 6 years out of home.Bec of job i cannot go everytime to allahabad for getting my time wasted for such cheap officials asking bribes at every nook and corner from people who even cant afford basic amenities.
Pls suggest me what shall i do?
My poor parents may not be in a position to fight legal battles nor do they have such good health. They are totally dependent upon me and I am employed in Gujarat.
Everyone asks for bribes and we just wanted a settlement.Settlement scheme was launched in late Jan while we approached these cheaters in Dec and paid what we could.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I am one of the oldest members of a housing society in Pune and has been residing in one of the flats. There are 36 members in the society and a few members are new. Recently it got revealed that except two members including myself all others have paid extra amount to the builder for parking place amounting to as high as Rs 100,000/-. Since builder had not asked us we did not pay for parking and have been using the parking place without any problem.
Recently when it got revealed, the members are saying that since we did not pay any amount to the builder, we can not park our vehicles in the parking lot. There is more than required parking place in the society. The society members are demanding money from us to get the parking otherwise they will rent out the place to outsiders/ other members in need of additional parking place and generate revenue for the society, after builder completes the conveyance deed, which is under process. kindly advise me in the matter and judgement on related case, if any.

Sir/Madam,I was married in 2006 2 a doctor,blessed with a boy(7) & girl(3),I work in central govt,hyd and used to visit her in Vizag every wknd & holidays where she lives vt her parents.v were very hapy for the last 7 years,during 2nd delivery she was badly traumatised by her mother on suspicious vt me that i am in relationship with someone in hyd.After so much of explanation by me and many of our famly members she did not consider,From then i could not control her n later this issue lead to seperation of us since 2012.Mine is joint family with upper middle class and well settled.her mother wanted me n my wife to stay away from our famly since marriage and lead different life.but i did nt listen to her and strictly avoided her mother as i had family values.I requested her everytm to think of children and our future and i also told her that v shall live in hyd seperately with our kids..she said that she wil no longer join and i should not see the kids also.after waiting and depressed for 3 yrs i can no longer wait for her as i am mentally disturbed and seperated from my own famly as well due to assets discretion.I may have around 5 Crores of my share which is completely joint property with 4 of my siblings and parents.Finally i given Pwr of Attorney to my brother either to sell or do whatever they wanted....all i need was peace of mind and different life.I do not want to marry or allow any1 to play with my life...i wanted to join some ashram if i do not have job...Recently i tried to ask my spouse for divorce wich they said they will not give and are asking for 1 Cr property share or by cash else they will not leave me.they are trying to spoil my life by removing my job. I am prepared for everything....Pls suggest me wot to do now....1.I want my wife n kids back and lead hapy life. 2.Mutual Divorce where i am rdy to give 1 share to kids wich ws agreed by my famly members. 3. Strictly fight legally asap & settle the issue.

I alongwith my juniors promoted in the year 2008 in the same order. Seniority in feedre cadre was disturbed on promotion by applying the instructions contained in circular issued by my department in the year 2005, which prescribes the selection of candidates on promotion by merit by considering the marks of ACR and interview. That circular is inconsistent with DOPT OM No.35034/7/97-Estt(D)dated 08.02.2002. The said DOPT OM prescribes the promotion with no supersession in seniority of feedre cadre.
Kindly guide me how I get my original seniority.
Please also provide some case laws on the subject matter.
Is the said instructions issued by my department supersede the DOPT OM dated 08.02.2002.

dear experts,
A,B,C,D having land each an Extent Ac.1-20 Gts.the same is coming since their fore fathers as the same has to cultivate by them and their family only and not for the sale as per the records. accordingly they are having possession of the land.the land is called GOD'S MANYAM .up to 2003 their names are showing in the revenue records. they went out side from the village for their livelihood as the lands are not cultivated due to drought. in 2004 W,X,Y,Z got registration on their names in the Registrar office by the influence of the village head.A,B,C,D never went to any registration office to execute the Regd.Sale Deed.Please note that Photos A,B,C,got some where But photo of D is not there in the sale deed in that place some one photo affixed.the entire matter is run by one the village head and his signature is on the deed as one of the witness.A,B,C,D are un-educated and came to know this RECENTLY. we wait for your valuable advice and guidance. than q in advance.

i used vodafone postpaid sim 10-11-2013 to 10-12-2013, vodafone offer me 5gb free internet for month after month they bill me 11000 saying cause of billing cycle is 5-11-2013 to 5-12-2013 uses between 5-12-2013 to 10-12-2013 cost you Rs.11000, i was not aware about what billing cycle is ! now they issuing notice and calling me to pay discounted 5000, in my opinion i was not used more than 5gb than why i should pay ? please tell me what i do? i argued i will ready to pay as per monthly plan i.e Rs.300

There is 18 year old aprtment with 19 flat in
Ground + 3 floors. The Flat owners association has proposed for installation of lift from ground to third floor. All owners except two owners have agreed and paid the amount needed for the installation.
Can these two owners not agree to pay? One owner is on ground floor and says as he will not use the lift he will not pay. Three other owners on ground floor have already agreed and paid.
Another owner in second floor is opposing the installation of lift saying that he will loose ventilation and that the lift door opens beside the main door of their apartment.
Similar flat on other foors have agreed without any objection.
Can the association force them to pay or cut off their other facilities till they pay?
Also can they proceed without their consent?
