Unlawful disconnection of electric supply by village authority

Hi,

My electricity supply line has been disconnected by my neighboring Village Authority due to some inter-villages disputes. I have been availing the supply for last 20 years without any default in payment of bills. This has been disconnected without any notice or reasons whatsoever from the Electricity Department. What remedy is available to me under the Electricity Act? Can an FIR be lodged under CRPC or any other relevant law.

Kindly do the needful as soon as possible.

Right

Dear sirs,

My father occupied a plot of land measuring about 5000 sq.metres within community land way back in 1968. The land was then a grazing field. No villagers settle there although it has been declared a village by the govt. except a family and our. Since then we have been living peacefully till 2 days before yesterday that whole the villagers evicted our land by declaring it to be community land. My father died last year. Land possession certificate issued by District Magistrate is in his name. But land possession certificate doesn't confer right over the land. It simply means that we are in possession of the land.
I was born there too. Now my question is by which legal provision shall I claim right over the land? kindly help. By virtue of permanent settlement? or By virtue of birth? or limitation period has anything to do ??? If possible kindly provide me a ruling by courts. Thanking you all.

General information on leasing the property

We have certain properties in Kerala that are rented out in a lease basis.
1) What are the clauses in the contract to specified so that we will not face with any issues when we want to evict the lessee from the property? To be specific, the properties are 2600 sq.ft commercial shop space and 10 rooms of 2 floor rooms for daily rent.
2)I have been reading about laws the protect lessee from eviction by the landlord. But I have a general question. If someone lets out my property for a some (say n) number of years (am getting rent regularly). On what basis does the lessee have the rights to occupy the property without my will and win over eviction? And is there any law protecting the ownership of the property to myself? Is there any limit to the number of years that I can lease a property without worrying about loosing property ownership?

Service tax

Service Tax department asks an assessee(Registered under maintenance & repair service and works at electrical Dept.of a company) to submit 2008-09 to 2013-14 F.Y.ST-3 return document,T.D.S.documents & 26 AS statement,Bank statement etc. of that Period. The assessee deposited all the documents. The assessee filed the return in tallying with T.D.S..But the service tax department send show cause notices by tallying with best of the three(whichever is higher).(1)Whether the Service Tax Dept can legally entitled to follow the best of the three rule(tallying with bank A/C,T.D.S. amount,26AS statement)?
(2)In Bank A/C statement sometimes mismatch with T.D.S.as because the assessee receive some security money as refund.(3)The assessee submitted an application before Income Tax Dept for correction of 26AS statement as it is mismatch with Form-16A issued by the comany.Whether the assessee can take such ground in reply of show cause?

Soft possession vs handover of unit

A builder is harassing his customers by threatening them to pay maintenance. He has threatened to charge interest for delay in payment of maintenance charges. He has as yet not provided the OC. He refuses to share maintenance expenses claiming that he is not duty bound to share the same, however he plans to give the same at the time of actual handover. He has collected maintenance charges at the time of handing over the keys of the unit. Now he says that that was only a soft possession. Some of the unit holders are staying in their units since 5 years. The residents have refused to pay maintenance as the maintenance is not up to the mark and secondly the charges for maintenance are too high when compared elsewhere. He has now increased the maintenance charges without the approval of the residents. No audited statements of expenses have been provided. What are the provisions as per MOFA?
