Hi Experts,
We are an internet startup and have devised a business process (for validating user information or inputs) for our business, that we believe to be unique.
Is it possible to get business processes patented? They are not a software program or a code, but more of how we will use existing technologies and some commonsense logic to achieve our business goals.
Kindly help please.
Thank you,
Hrishikesh
Respected Lawersclub Members,
We had filed a Consumer Complaint against a Builder in 2007 and an order was passed in our favour in 2009. The Builder appealed against this order in NCDRC whereupon an order was passed on 23/05/2014. A copy of the said order is enclosed. Our queries are now as under:
Can the Builder seek a review of this order by NCDRC?
Can the Builder appeal to Supreme Court against this order?
If so, by when does the Builder have to file such appeal in the Supreme Court?
What is the meaning of 'SLP' ?
Meanwhile, I wish to thank the respected members of Lawyersclub for the valuable guidance given to us from time.
Regards
Partha Roy

Dear Members,
I am Saurabh married in 2012 but soon after two to three months issues started my mother used some bad language this is due to that in marriage we have not taken a single rupee and people around us started talking she informed to her parents after that they took my class i informed my parents problems were growing day by day she started to went to her parents house every day this hurts me. she is always with her parents and wanted me to left my parents and join hands with her parents only i refused it but i agree that we will be living separately. now she also wanted me to do everything according to her parents wishes this is not accepted to me at all and we have exchanged some hatred languages on each other in august 2013 last year she left my house and i with my ego not called her to come back.
It is around 10 months since then we have not talked to each other we both are not in favor of any court case because it takes around 4-5 years and we both aged 30 years.
Now i realized that the issue is worse if i talk to her parents then they will welcome me with abusive language this is sure and even not to talk,
We both are 50-50% responsible for the problem i am not interested to divorce but if she wants then i am ready, she and i have not filled any case against each other
Dear all respected members kindly advice how to improve the situation
Thanks
Saurabh Sharma

My father converted his self acquired property to HUF only in income tax .Income tax returns are filed in HUF status. In governments land records the house property is in individual name. After my father had expired in 1968,three sisters had relinquished their share and the said house property was mutated in my name,my brother and in my mother name in government land records. My mother had made a registered in will in my favour of her 1/3rd share in the said house property. My first question is, Is this house property HUF or individual property since in government land records its in individual name and before also it was in my father individual name in government land records. My mother expired in 2007. Now my sisters under the new hindu law sec 6 want a share in the said house property. Can sisters claim share in the said house property and if my sisters accept my mothers will, can they still claim share in said house property.

Election duty
I am a senior PSU officer. (Manager in a mini ratna central Govt PSU). My grade is E-5 whereas highest grade is E-8. My pay scale is Rs. 36600-3%-62000 (IDA).I have several times been called for election duty of both Assembly elections & Parliamentary elections. At each occasion, I have been deputed as Micro Observar so far. I have seen that some of my colleagues who are senior PSU officers have been assigned the duty of Presiding Officer whereas their Sector Magistrate from State/Central Govt were of lower pay scale/rank. So far I have not seen that any PSU officer has ever been deputed as Sector Magistrate.[what's election commission 's guidelines] Now I have been again called for duty of Panchayat Election duty and this time I have been deputed as Presiding Officer. I want to know:
1) Can a PSU officer be deputed for State Panchayat Election duty?
2) Can a PSU officer of higher scale than the scale of State Govt./Central Govt. Officer, who has been deputed as Sector Magistrate, be deputed as Presiding Officer? OR can a PSU officer of my rank/grade be deputed as Presiding Officer?
3) How will we compare the pay-scale of a PSU officer (IDA scale) with a State/Central Govt. scale?
4) How to determine whether the pay scale of a PSU employee is higher/lower than a State/Central Govt Employee?
Matter is urgent. legal advice from experts is genuinely requested.
Regards to all.
