I would like to marry my lover under special marriage act.But i was compelled by her parents for conversion to csi christian.So i plan to marry her under special marriage act first.Then i will convert to christian and marry her from her csi church.
Can you provide what are the legal complications for my approach?

My family of nine members wants to execute a POA in my favour for getting the plan sanctioned from the Kolkata Municipal Corporation so that I can process, sign all the papers and documents on their behalf and deal with the authorities of Kolkata Municipal Corporation to obtain sanctioned plan. Is this POA needs to be registered with the Sub-Registar. The POA is only meant for executing documents and processing for obtaining sanctioned plan from the authorities and not for sale.

Dear Experts,
In the matter of Specific Performance of Contract upon the Application of the Defendant the Court has passed an Order that the Plaint is rejected under Order 7 rule 11 of CPC as the same is barred by the provisions of Order 2 Rule 2 of the CPC.
In the said matter the Plaintiff has also filed his Evidence.
Kindly guide that at this stage can Plaintiff request to the Court for refund of Court Fees as the amount is substantial? If yes, what will be the procedure for the same?

Sir,
I am an ex-serviceman retired from Indian Navy after 15 years of service and joined PSU as an executive basing on the qualification experience gained from Navy. Now as per the recent promotion policy of the company my canditature was not considered for promotion as i am not having the requisite qualification. My question is my basic qulification at entry level and experience gained over a period of 20 years in the company can’t be considered for promotion?

Dear Members,
My Grand father sold 1 acre land in 1952 to a Buyer which is having 6 cents land of temple place.Later due to severe consequences occurred to buyer after taking that land ,that buyer orally given back that 6 cents of land of temple place to my father in the year 1989.From the last 20 years my father developed that temple place with his own money.Now that Buyer's son is asking to giveback 6 cents of temple place for his own use.Now we are not ready to giveback that temple place ,as the God in the temple is our family god.But the problem is that the temple place is not registered in our father's name.Buyer just orally given back that 6 cents of land of temple place to my father in the year 1989.we are having just possession in that land upto 20 to 25 years.Even we are not having any taxes paid to the temple place(i.e Electricity bill,water tax bill etc).Just our father taken possession & our family members are worshipping the god in the temple and developed that 6 cents of land of temple place.Buyer's son is demanding to give back that 6 cents of land of temple place.Recently we created a private trust on the temple land.
What is the solution for the above to protect our temple place...so that we shall have possession permanently??

Whether is it mandatory to serve a eviction notice to a gratuitous licensee for vacating the premises before filing a suit for eviction against such licensee ??? if possible any case law to that effect.

IF I TAKE NOC WHILE GOING TO INTERVIEW(THAT IS AFTER CLEARING WRITTEN EXAM). THOUGH THEY HAVE MENTIONED TO TAKE BEFORE APPLYING JOB IN NOTIFICATION.
WILL THEY ACCEPT OR LEGALLY IS IT OK

IN STATE GOVERNMENT JOB NOTIFICATION THEY HAVE ASKED TO GET NOC BEFORE APPLYING JOB.
IF I TAKE NOC FROM MY ORGANISATION NOW ,THEN I HAVE TO LOSE BENEFITS LIKE PROMOTION OR TRANSFERS.
EVEN THERE IS A WRITTEN EXAM FOR THE JOB WHICH AM APPLYING.SO VERY FEW ONLY WILL BE SELECTED TO INTERVIEW.

Defect liability period
Dear sirs, Recently Our society filed a case on developer under MOFA. After this, we recd letter from one of the partner of developer which states that he de-registered himself from partnership in 2010 & our complaint pertains to period after 2010 so he should not be held responsible for any grievances of members. He was partner from start of redevelopment 2007 to possession of members in redeveloped building in 2010. Our redevelopment agreement is silent on Defect Liability Period. Our query is, Is there any law which can help us in this matter?
