Dear Experts,
The facts of the situation are:
Husband was S.T. and died without will. The land in his name was inherited by his wife, who belongs to General Caste. The wife obtained "parcha" in her name.
Question 1: Whether the nature of the land is still tribal or not?
Question 2: Whether she needs to obtain District Magistrate's permission to sell the land to a non-tribal or not?
Request the learned experts to answer in the light of West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1955.

Dear Experts,
I am a Resident of a Bangalore apartment complex and fond of playing music which I enjoy with my family.
Every time I turn up the volume my neighbor (apartment below mine) complains that I am playing too loud and ask me to reduce volume because it is disturbing them, and they argue that peace of mind is their legal right.
I wanted to know if there is a law in Bangalore/Karnataka for Apartments which defines how loud sound (music/tv) can be played or is there a restriction on loud sound within an apartment.
A friend told me up to -20 decibels can be played but I could not find any legal documentation on the Internet for this.

I had entered into an Agreement to sell for purchase of an underconstruction property at Gurgaon in Nov 2011. The seller defaulted and there were a spate of emails (on gmail) exchanged and final email from him happened in end-April 2012.
Technically, I am almost on the verge of the Limitation Period. Will my case for ‘Specific Performance’ hold much ground/weight?
Also, under the Information Technology Act, emails are accepted as valid communications. Is that true and thus defendable in a civil case?
Pay protection in case leaving cpse and joining another cpse
I was working in IDA scale Rs.36600/- to Rs.62000/- (E6) in a power sector CPSE and joined in IDA scale of Rs.43200/-Rs.6600/(E7) in railway sector CPSE on immediate absorption basis. My application from earlier organization was sent "through proper channel" along with my CR dossier. In my earlier organization I was drawing a basic of Rs.46300/-.
I have asked my new employer that my basic should be Rs.47700/- (with one notional increment on Rs.46300/-) with date of increment remain unchanged i.e Jan. I joined in FEB and my date of increment in previous organization was Jan.
Is my understanding correct as per DPE guidelines or any other rules of FRSR of Government of India. May I request to please provide me the references for putting up my case with employer.
Regards,
Anjeev
