i want to enquire that i got divorse in 2015. but i filed 498 a case which is still pending or not i am not sure. since it was filed in telgana where i find very difficult to prove any thing becoz of police negligence. My Ex got married before divorse and also having children. now i applied for deletion of spouse name by submitting divorse papers. so becoz of pending 498 a case can it affect my reissue of passport.
Hello Everyone,
My client took a Housing Loan from NBFC few years back.
There are some disputes arise between Borrower & NBFC.
Borrower wants to file complaint against NBFC and get resolved the disputes as per law.
As per the agreement between Borrower & NBFC; there is an arbitration clause in case any dispute arises.
The problem is:
Arbitration clause states that the Arbitration Proceedings will commence at Mumbai.
My client/borrowe resides in Delhi and it is difficult for borrower to contest arbitration proceedings at Mumbai because the claim amount is not very high.
Which other forum my client can approach for proper adjudication.
P.s.: (i) Consumer court has no jurisdiction because loan was taken for commercial purpose & it is written also in Agreement.
(ii) Civil courts are also barred to adjudicate the suit because in other cases NBFC has taken the plea in written statement, since there is an arbitration clause present in agreement, no civil court has jurisdiction to adjudicate the suit.
(iii) Banking Ombudsman has no jurisdiction over the NBFC as per RBI Guidelines.
Please advice... its urgent.

Sir, I am central govt school Teacher.
My wife and his brothers have registered FIR u/s 308/323/506/34 against me about one and half month back . I got anticipatory bail from session court Delhi And from Police Station after filling surety of Rs 10000. But I did not inform this to my office in writing. Is it necessary for me to inform my superior in writing about it. If i will not inform, if any action can be taken against me at this stage.I have not been detained by the police and no charge sheet has been filed by police yet.

Hello everyone, I had filed case against the accused of cheque bouncing in 2014, first bailable warrants been sent by court, then non bailable warrants but accused didn't appeared before the court. Its been sent on the address last known to me, the reply on summons are that accused don't live in that address anymore even though his parents are still living at that place. On last date court ordered for 82 and ask the local police station to act as per that. Now my question is that what if he don't appear on next date even? What will be the next step of court? What I can do to make him appear before court?
Does I need to keep waiting for him to come? Or can I do something?
Kindly suggest and help me. Thank you

Dear Lawyers
I have planned to purchase a property in Chennai,
A legal case is going on Property surrounded our property.
But our seller is saying that, this property doesn't have any problem.
So what is the procedure to find out our property is out of legal cases and whether future problem may arise from near by Property.
