Customs & C.Excise duty on glass chatons

Dear All Concern
There is an issue that for import of glass Charon's in India what is the correct classification as per Customs Tariff and what rate of duty currently applicable for import of glass Charon's??? I have read somewhere and also of the opinion that glass Charon's must be classified under CTH 70181020 and CVD exemption also allow on said goods. But today after so much argument with Appraiser and A/C at ICD TKD PORT they denied the declared CTH 70181020 and change to 70181090 with full rate of duty and assess the B/E. So I request you to all that if you have any material (Documentary/Legal/Judgments/Arguments etc.) By which we can fight or going to appeal in subject matter. Please share you comments/suggestions.

Best Regards
Naveen

Evidence stage in consumer court.

I filed complaint against an NBFC in district consumer forum vis-a-vis excess penalties in loan account. Opposite party repeatatively asked for 'more time' for filing 'objection', but did not file. The court moved case to 'evidence' stage. Two queries in this regard.

1. Whether the Affidavit I file in this stage shall be ditto copy of original complaint, or I can add / modify / delete some content of original complaint while filing the affidavit?

2. At this stage, am I supposed to submit to the court 'all originals' relevant to complaint; or submission of 'photocopies of these originals' good enough.

Thanks.

Load against property

Hello,

Thank you for your time and help.

I have taken a load against property from icici bank Lucknow. My property is in Agra but my residence is in Lucknow. I have taken the loan to start a business and some how things did not work the way I have planned. After 2 EMIs I am unable to pay the rest. And the entire loan amount is stuck in business which I can get back in 12-15 months time. But till then I cant pay my EMI due to other house hold expenses and kids education.
My questions are:

1: What action bank can take against me?
2: In case bank takes over my property in Agra after 3-6 months, Is there a way I can get it back by repaying the loan amount along with the interest? (In case I am able to get the amount stuck in business)
3: In how much time can bank take my property?

Taxability of pf withdrawal

Hellow friends,

I shall be grateful if any one of you can throw some light on my following issue relating to PF withdrawal:

I worked in a company long till 2007 for over 10 years where I was a member of PF/EFP.Then i joined many other companies and left and withdrawn by PF in all the cases. In last case where I worked for 3.5 years. I withdrew my PF as the other company which joined had no PF. I am of the opinion that I have already completed 10 years in my previous company so I do not fall within the ambit of minimum 5 years condition for withdrawal and PF and EPF withdrawn by me should not come under the ambit of tax liability.

Please let me know whether there is any tax liability on PF withdrawan by me.

Thanks
