My landlord did not return my deposit as per signed agreement. He does not respond to my calls or messages.
Unfortunately, I no longer have a copy of the agreement but have bank transactions and text messages regarding the deposit.
Is there any way I can take legal action?
Also, I moved to a different state. Can i file a case against him from a different state?

sir,My sister got engaged with one person legally . but now that person refuse to marriage.i know that my sister is not guilty.but that person did not give any exact reason of his no. when we go to meetings at his houses according to decide.that person did not atten d the meeting.he always avoid to face us.finali we decided to cancel marriage.but we think that person should give punishment what can do? please tell me

One degree is correspondence from ignou and other is private from Kanpur university both are simultaneously. Is both are valid or not. Please reply it....It will help someone's a lot.....thanks

Hello Sir/Madam,
My brother-in-law have a NRI account with SBI. We need a bank statement from the year 2001-2005.
When we asked regarding this, the bank said that they didn't have it here and it will be in head office. And, we gave requisition letter also to the bank as they said. But, no response for that also.
And, it was not fully computerized at that time.
Please, help me out in this to get a bank statement on those years. What are the possible ways to collect it from bank?

Dear Learned members,
This is a personal query of one close friend relating to freehold of a DDA flat.
The matter is like this.
My friend purchased an LIG Flat in Delhi under un registered agreement to sell/GPA in 2003 from the second party which he now wants to get freehold from DDA under the relaxed scheme launched by DDA in 2014 for conversion of unregistered ATS into freehold.The said scheme, requires all the agreements to sell after executed 24.09.2001 to be registered from the registrar.I have visted with my friend to the concerned SDM office where the concerned clerk calculted duty @8% on the value of agreement to sell exceuted after 24.09.2001(both are excuted in June 2003)and also told us that there will be a penalty upto 10times of the duty at the discretion of the SDM.But the DDA says that the stamp duty should be paid on circle rate. I told this to SDM office guy, he says the duty will be on the consideration amount mentioned ion the ATS as the circle rate was not applicable then in 2003.We are at a delima who is right whether SDM ofice or DDA guy. But I feel it's a state subject so DDA should not question the duty calculation of the Delhi Govt SDM office.
The second issue is that the DDA guidelines says that the unregistered agreement to sell executed should be registered with the concerned Sub-registrar.The SDM office says that there is no registration involved in this case only the payment of stamp duty which has not been paid earlier will have to be paid. he says that we will have to buy the stamp papers as per the value calculted by SDM which will be signed and stamped by them and that will be the documents which will be submitted to DDA with application and other documents for free hold.I have visited the sub registrar office there one person told us that they do registration of all current documents and all old cases are done by SDM.But we are confused as which one is saying correct.
can anyone please throgh some light on above two issues. Shall be highly grateful so that we donot stuck in DDA office.

dear experts
a person taken a loan from X of rs.4,00,000/- and executed a registered sale deed of his plot on a condition that when ever the amount is repaid he has to re execute the register sale deed.but there is no any document on that condition.now the person ready to pay the amount with interest but X is not in a mood to re execute the registerd sale deed.

I am 43+ years old service person (legal & taxation area) & interested to take admission in 3 years LLB course of Kalinga University , Raipur .
This 3 years LLB course is approved by BCI , UGC & local state government as per notification issued.
Please confirm , whether BCI will allow me or not as a registered practicing lawyer after completing this course from Kalinga University , Raipur because of my age factor?
I came to know that supreme court issued a judgement that Sr peoples can work & registered them self as a practicing lawyer after retirement from their Job & there will be no age bar.

ex-girl friend forcing for divorce
Dear All
I am in bizarre situation my ex-girl friend is threatning to commit suicide if i don't divorce to my wife. Actually my ex-girl friend who was my college friend both we were true friend and had good relationship physically & mentally. The problem begin when i asked my parents to marry with her they have not been agree even i had tried to convince them but they remain adamant not to accept my love. Hence i have ask her to move on and forget everything first she refused but somehow i have convinced her. After that we were not in touch for almost two year. Last year i was married with the girl who was decided by my parents in arrenged marriage. Frankly speaking she was forced on me. we have not good marriage life nor i was physically attracted toward my wife in between i have been promoted to senior manager and has been shifted in delhi with my wife. Initially i was not loving my wife. But she is sweet & managable girl and really love me alot. She really take care of myself even relate to small things. Therefore gradually i begun to love her. However five month back my ex-girlfriend called me to have job in delhi. I thought she is facing financial crises Hence i offer her the opening of team member in my company. After that she has also been settled in delhi. Now she is insisting me to give the divorce to my wife also threatning me to commit suicide. If my wife call me she even disconnect my wife's phone and she want me not to have any relation with my wife not even talk and stayed together. On the other hand there is my wife who is innocent and really love me to whom i had already hurt. Now i don't want to hurt her more. My life is being worst i don't know how to get out of this problem.
Please let me know is there any legal remedy to get the rid from my ex-girlfriend always she threatning to commit suicide if i have any relation with my wife?
